perhaps it was time he got used to being bothered by irrelevant people. it had been long enough since he’d first bumped into this child after all, his tongue quick to lash out with his sarcastic tendencies & his youthfulness becoming nothing more than a grazing annoyance, really, in the first few moments of them meeting. he reminded him too much of those resistance fighters -- so quick to humour him that they spared no thought for how charred their future bodies may become. but he was hardly about the gun down a child here. not that he wouldn’t do it for less.
