With April fools day approaching, this is a friendly reminder that not everyone likes the holiday! Some people may not like it because:

-they have been bullied/emotionally abused in the past under the guise of pranks

-they’re autistic and don’t really get that sort of humor anyways

-they already experience psychosis, and messing with their sense of reality may trigger it

-or any number of things!

In addition. Pokémon don’t celebrate holidays like humans do, so you should sit down with your mons and explain the holiday to them if you intend to participate. Pokémon can have violent startle responses, especially if they’re wild-born, so make sure not to surprise them if there’s a risk of danger involved!

It can be a delightfully fun holiday, but you all should stay safe, okay?
