In Super Paper Mario, narrow passages exist solely to be used with the Pixl Dottie's shrinking ability. They are usually impossible to enter without it, nor can the ability be cancelled while inside such a passage. However, using glitches, it is possible to enter a narrow passage without shrinking, causing the player character to be severely squished.
If Bowser collects an item while close to the passage, he will clip slightly into it. If he is then hit by a Shell Shock shell, he will clip even further into it, at which point switching to Mario will put him fully into the passage. The bottom image shows a close-up view of Mario in his squished state.

Gumshoe is so attractive when you think about it. I mean this is the ideal man. Those shoulders. Those hips. That stomach I know he has and is kinda hinted at in the first image maybe capcom is just allergic to fat. Good with kids (ignoring the gun incident). Thoughtful. People argue about whoโ€™s more husband material Phoenix or Edgeworth but the real ideal husband is obvious

Left: a Spindrift enemy as it appears in Super Mario 64. Note how outside of the surprised expression, a small detail that is very hard to notice during regular gameplay is small holes in its leaves, as though from being eaten by caterpillars.
Right: extracting the Spindrift's textures from the files reveals that there is color information in the transparent pixels, suggesting that instead of being drawn that way from the beginning, the textures were drawn differently and then parts of them were made transparent.
Restoring the colors in the transparent parts reveals that the expression was originally a smile, and that the leaves were originally pristine before being changed to damaged. This was possibly considered by the developers to look too much like a friendly NPC and not enough like an enemy, resulting in the changes made for the finished game.

Well... some of you may have figured out we're not home yet, we're only half way there.
