hi friend,

a short announcement. I decided to leave social media only for a month, lately I have been struggling a lot with my health, mental health, sadly i do have some binges which lead to eating struggles, in general i have some issues, i need to work on.

I am not going to sit here and pretend when everything is fine, which is not. So for the may. I wish you happiness every single day, take care of yourself. And remember i am not here, but i am still cheering for you, i am so proud of you.

my body aches for a break, my mind aches for a break, i am just tired, see you one day. the only account that i will be active on is my bookstagram.

you're not a monster. you're you. you're flawed, yes, but you're also incredibly alive. just human. real. capable of great things, capable of change and growth, too. don't define yourself by the inner critic lashing out at you. you're not your worst moments.

I love thinking of my time in the real world as starting from when I became legally an adult. It helps me be so much less hard on myself to be like well. I’m only 21. I’ve only been legally an adult for 3 years. I am a 3 year old adult. It’s okay if I make mistakes or don’t get things right immediately or bruise myself a little bit trying to hit a stride. Now is the time to trip and fall and get a little bruised. But then u get up and it heals and u know not to trip next time. You quite literally just started so why are u harsh on urself for mistakes that were essentially inevitable

i think makeup can be artistic expression i also think sometimes people are lying about it being about artistic expression and would in fact be a lot happier if they had never been told they had to wear it

"aroace people are emotionless" "aroace people are cold" i don't know where that notion came from. i love passionately, obsessively, almost clingily, just not romantically. i love my friends, i love my family, i love my cats. what makes you think i can't love?

the phrase ‘this is my first time being alive’ has done wonders for me recently. Yeah, I don’t know how to navigate this situation! It’s brand new to me and I’m learning on the fly, aren’t humans such wonderfully adaptive creatures?

i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.

my friend was testing perfumes out at the store and she sniffed a bottle and anounced "ngl this bitch kind of sucks" The girl at the counter suddenly looked really sad, and my friend was like "I'm sorry, I wasn't talking about you." And the girl looked up and said "No don't worry, I didn't think that, but I just crushed a ladybug with my shoe" We both took a peak over the counter. she'd stepped on a red m&m
