Sun Wukong Did Nothing Wrong
The fact I have to dust off this Tumblr to say any of this is really a bummer, but alright, here we go;
Since Volume 4, and Sun being revealed as Blake’s travel companion for her time in Menagerie, I have seen countless statements that falsely label him as a creeper, a stalker, pervert, etc.
This claims are as outrageous as Ruby x Qrow as a ship.
Sun Wukong is a guy who puts his friends first, he’s always established that and has done just that throughout the entire show; he is selfless and caring, and wants nothing but the best for his friends (You know, like any GOOD friend would do.)
Friends SUPPORT one another
Friends are ALWAYS there for each other, no matter what the circumstances are.
Friends DO NOT let their friends charge into a situation of major magnitude ALONE.
Friends STAND TOGETHER, ALWAYS.
I can’t believe I have to say these things, but here I am.
Sun Wukong is NOT a creeper
Sun Wukong is NOT a stalker
Sun Wukong is NOT a pervert
Sun Wukong is NOT these negative things you label him as.
Sun Wukong has done NOTHING but HELP Blake and the Belladonnas, even though he could be safely home at Mistral.
I am willing to bet that if this was Yang following Blake under the same circumstances, no one would bat an eye; but since it’s Sun, everyone loses their minds.
STOP attacking him.
STOP shunning him.
APPRECIATE him for being a true friend.
