“Ophelia,” his smile fell, and his eyes grew wide and pleading. “Please. I didn’t mean to insult you earlier. I know that you are a dedicated retainer and a formidable warrior. Really, I do.”
“I just saw you in such a state, and…” he glanced at the ground, trying to choose his words carefully. “It frightened me. It vexed me that I was unable to protect you, or heal your injuries, or do anything for you. I felt that I had failed you.”
Two weeks alone gave him plenty of time to reflect. Hopefully, he thought, she was pleased with his answer…
She hated it when he squabbled and hesitated like that, groveling like a little child rather than just talking to her like a man- but she couldn’t be too critical of him. He was trying to apologize the best way he knew how. “The only thing you failed in is losing your temper.” She finally said, not looking at him, but the frown on her face lightened up a fraction. “I understand you care for me, I know the feeling, but don’t make the mistake of trying to get mad at me for doing my job again. I will give my life for dear Forrest, he is my world as you are.”
She finally turned around to leave again, only stopping at the doorway and looking over her shoulder slightly in his direction. “I am still mad at you, one can not just allow a light into the dark when negative feelings are bound tight to it. You must let the storm pass before venturing out to fix things.” She left him with that, sighing as she did so, holding onto her crystals tightly.

Ophelia wasn't smiling. Instead, she looked ore irritated at him even more so, glaring at him from where she stood. "Not long enough in my opinion." She finally shot back, grabbing the crystals she had bought and putting them in her bag. "I'm still mad at you my lord. Forgive my rudeness, but I don't want to talk to you. I won't be coddled."

She frowned, turning around with her arms crossed over her chest. He was supposed to be a King, how was he this clueless? “Yes My lord?” She asked, using his title rather than name, attempting to put distance between them. Obviously she still wasn’t his number one fan.
He did a double-take. “My Lord”? This was going to be more dangerous than he expected. But he didn’t want to waste this precious moment.
“W-Well,” he tried to regain his composure. He lowered his voice, as if what he said was some big secret. “It has been two weeks, three days and six hours since we have last spoken. I was wondering if you had forgotten about me!”
He gave a shaky, desperate chuckle.

The teenager seemed troubled, and Robin could understand. Kids were never an extension or a lookalike of their parent, but judging by the silver hair Severa had, either Henry or himself was her father. The tactician glanced over at the other mage who was busy bothering one of the poor guards with his harmless but cringy jokes. He couldn't blame her for wanting to keep it secret- Henry was...well, Henry and Robin wasn't a great choice either.
"You can when you feel like you can, or when you want." He sat down next to her and gave her a small smile. "In the meantime, it's nice to meet you again. I'm Robin."
