just watched the latest episode of new world and—sorry, can we take a minute to appreciate how senku's expression shifts right before he greets taiju?

the way he narrows his eyes and his eyebrows relax and overall his gaze fills with fondness? it's something that we see other times, like when byakuya's involved, and it's such a small twitch but i find it so pure 'cause that big oaf is his best friend. they are each other's ride or die, they love each other, they just—head in my hands i'll never tire of saying how much i adore the beautiful way dr. stone portrays so many different, beautiful platonic bonds among all of its characters.
