slytherin movie nights.

a tradition amongst your friend group.

once a week a name was picked out of a hat and that person got to pick a movie for you all to watch.

the tradition arose when you brought a projector with you to school during your second year along with a black vhs your mother had taught you how to charm to be a different movie every time.

during october most of the films picked were scary movies.

unless you got your hands on it, in which case it was rom coms & comedy's all night.

but today pansy had the choice of movie and she had gone for 'the blair witch project', a film you had heard a lot about, but none of the things you had heard made it something you wanted to watch.

people had called it terrifying, a psychological mindfuck and you weren't exactly looking forward to it.

the set up was the same as usual, teas & hot chocolates were distributed amongst the group with two bowls of snacks on the table infront of all of you.

you were curled up to theo's side with your legs draped over his lap as his fingers traced up and down your shin.

about half an hour into the film you had your head buried in the crook of theo's shoulder.

it really wasnt a pleasant film, but your friends sat through all the films you picked so you felt like you had to sit through this too.

" you okay, baby ?" theo whispered, his lips brushing against your forehead as he spoke.

you paused for a few moments before you responded, lifting your gaze to look up at him

" i don't like scary movies - " your voice was barely there. you didnt want the others to know how tense and uncomfortable you currently were.

a soft smile spread across his lips as he looked down at you before he pressed a kiss onto your forehead.

" dont worry, i'll keep you safe " he whispered, his arm tightening around your shoulders to pull you slightly closer to him.

Theo set his things down, entering your dorm room after a long day. He frowned when he noticed you weren’t in your typical spot — the window seat that sat in a soft pocket of sunshine, blankets draped over pillows and novels stacked beside it.

“Sweetheart?” Theo called out, searching for his lover.

He poked his head into the bathroom, finding you sitting in front of the mirror, scratching and fussing at your own skin, picking little spots that only your eyes could see.

It pained him to watch. It had become a nervous habit, more prevalent as of late, and it only made it worse. Your face would get puffy and red, irritated and inflamed, including the little spots on your arms and thighs that fell victim to your nails.

“Hey,” his voice caught your attention.

Theo’s hands gently circled around your wrists, pulling your hands away from your face as he dotted a kiss to the tip of your nose.

“I’m sorry…” you whispered, embarrassed that he’d caught you in the wretched habit, one you wanted to break.

“Don’t, it’s okay. I just want my pretty girl to be gentle with herself,” he hummed softly, pressing his lips against your cheek.

You sighed softly as he kissed your palms, a loving smile spreading across his fingers.

“Help me practice transfiguration,” Theo suggested in an attempt to distract you from scratching at your skin.

You stood beside him, placing a goblet on the desk in front of you. Your soft voice formed the spells, helping Theo pronounce the words correctly. You laid your hand over his, making sure the movements of his wand were precise, before putting it all together. You were a gentle and patient tutor, enjoying aiding your boyfriend in the complex spells, even though he was doing it for you.

“You’ve got it,” you encouraged, watching him transform the goblet into a soft wool blanket.

“That’s perfect, love!” you exclaimed, giggling as he pulled you to sit down on his lap.

He kissed along your jaw, smiling into your warm skin. You turned and met his lips in a kiss, smiling into it as his hands gently squeezed your hips. You rested your forehead against Theo’s, catching your breath.

“Are you stressed?”

“Yeah, a bit,” you confessed softly, embarrassed.

“I want you to talk to me when you’re anxious. I want to help before it gets bad and you hurt your pretty skin,” his tone was gentle, no ounce of shame lingering in his tone.

You nodded silently, holding back tears as you buried your face in his neck. He rubbed your back, kissing the side of your head and listening to the rain pouring down on the castle.

“Come here, we’ll relax,” he patted your bum gently, encouraging you to stand.

He waved his wand, making your uniform transform into comfortable pajamas, and he tied your hair up out of your face. You laughed as he brought you to sit in the bathroom, washing your face with your sweet-scented wash. He cleaned your skin with a warm washcloth, kissing all over your damp cheeks before spreading a mask over your face.

“You spoil me,” you accused, pouting your lips for a kiss.

“You deserve it,” Theo hummed, granting you a kiss.

He gently cleaned your face off once the mask was dry, pampering you and brushing out your hair while you sat on the bed, listening to music pour softly from a record player in the corner.

“Feeling better?” he asked as you laid back on his chest, comforted as his arms wrapped around you.

“Much.”

you had never imagined you would find someone you love as much as theodore not.

he is the most attentive, kind and loving partner ever. and he always made a big fuss over you so you wanted to do the same for him.

his 18th birthday.

you wanted it to be perfect.

so you had asked his friends for help organising a party for him.

you did your best to keep him out of the dorm after classes, taking him for a walk and a small picnic at the lake.

you knew his friends needed you both gone until 6, so you kept taking glances at his watch to make sure you didnt stay out too long even if you did want to stay out here all night.

but when you saw the time on his watch you knew you had to wrap it up out here and take him inside.

when you arrived back at the slytherin dungeons after a lovely quiet walk, you entered infront of theo, leading him into the common room with a nervous smile on your lips.

the minute he came into view the entire room erupted in cheers of 'surprise' and 'happy birthday'

the common room was draped in banners and streamers and there were tables on either end of the room with food and drink.

not everyone had actually been invited, you had managed to convince some of the students from the younger years to stay in there dorms for a few hours, so he was surrounded by people he liked and cared about.

within seconds theo was being pulled into the middle of the room by his friends and you headed over to some of the girls to let him enjoy his night with his mates.

it was about 30 minutes later that theo found you to pull you away from your conversation with pansy.

your brows furrowed softly when he started leading you up the stairs towards his dorm.

" theo, what are we doing..?" your initial thought was that he was dragging you away because he didn't like the party.

" are you not enjoying yourself? " you stuttered slightly, following him up to his dorm and walking in after him when he opened the door. " i'm so sorry, i thought you'd like this, i'm such an idiot.. i-i can clear everyone out if that's what you w-"

you were cut off from your nervous rambling when theo grabbed your cheeks and pressed his lips to yours. only when you slightly relaxed into it did he pull back and swipe his thumb under your eye to catch the frustrated tear that had fallen there.

" i love it... darling, no one has ever done anything like this for me. and i love you so much for doing this for me "

the smile on his face squashed any of your previous fears that he hated it.

" i'm so glad you liked it..." was all you could think to say before he had his lips on yours again and his hands were travelling down your waist to grab at your thighs and hoist you up onto him.

your legs instantly wrapped around his waist, feet interlocking behind him to keep yourself secured.

his hands moved to under your ass to support you. when he stumbled slightly you let out a soft laugh, cut short when you felt your back press against the door to his dorm.

he pushed you further up against the surface, his lips trailing down your neck and shoulder.

suddenly all the work you had put into his party dissipated and all you cared about was this boy sucking a hickey onto your chest while your dress rode up around your hips.

67 - LOTS OF SEXUAL TENSION

it was no secret that your boyfriend was attractive.

many girls walked down the hallway and openly fawned over him while you were standing right beside him.

but he was yours.

and he didnt care about the other girls in the hallway.

he cared about you.

and he showed you every day that he did.

he told you every day how much he loved you.

he showed you every day how much he cared for you in the way he held you most nights or the way he squeezed your hand in the halls when the other girls gawked at him.

he showed you in the gifts he insisted on showering you with.

jewellery, books, clothes.

but his favourite was definitely lingerie.

he had a certain way he went about it aswell.

about once a month you would come back to your dorm to find a small, flat box on your bed with a hand written note folded up onto of it.

he would buy you lingerie every month for your date night because he wanted you to feel special.

enclosed in that note would be a time, a place and his initials with a little heart next to them. it was like clockwork.

this month, though, he hadn't gifted you some for date night, he had gifted some to you for your birthday.

a beautiful pink lace set that you were sure he would love seeing you in and you would actually love being in.

you had begged your friends not to make a big deal for your birthday, and they had kept their promises to you. instead of a big party, your closest friends had set up a picnic by the lake for only a few of you to enjoy.

but of course, theo being theo, he had asked you to show up a little bit earlier so that he could be the first one to see you.

his reaction was definitely worth the 15 minutes you lost getting ready.

his lips were on you in an instant, his hands gripping at your waist as you enjoyed the moment together.

" happy birthday, sweetheart...did you get my present ?" he questioned, unable to tell with the outfit you had chosen to wear.

instead of answering, you just removed one of your hands from around his neck and lifted the hem of your sweater so the bottom of the pink fabric was visible to him.

you could see the excitement in his eyes and it caused a smile to spread across your lips.

" i like it very much, thank you, baby, i dont ever want to take it off " you whispered, moving to wrap your arms back around him.

" then i may have failed in my mission. "

with a soft laugh you leant over to press a short and teasing kiss onto his lips.

never had you been so bored on a saturday.

with your friends all studying and theo not arriving at school until tomorrow after the summer holidays, you were truly bored out of your mind.

to the point where you had made a pillow fort onto of your bed.

with your curtains drawn around your bed you had draped a sheet over the top to truly enclose yourself and had strung fairy lights around the bed frame.

it took ages.

and by the time you were done with it you were actually very proud of yourself.

when you were younger your pillow forts never looked like this, mainly because you didn't have the skill to accomplish it, but it just made this one all the more impressive.

you had been curled up in it all day with a cup of coffee and a book that you had been meaning to get to for weeks but never found the time.

it was a truly lovely day.

and you had been undisturbed until the lights in your dorm room started flickering.

" stop playing around with the lights, it's not funny " you called out, assuming that pansy was just trying to get you out of your fort for something.

when the flickering of the lights didn't stop, you set your book down on the bed and balanced your coffee down ontop of it before popping your head out.

" what the hell is w-" you started but immediately cut yourself off when you didnt see pansy or any of the girls at your doorway.

instead, stood in your dorm was your 6 foot boyfriend still damp from the rain outside. he must have just gotten in.

" holy shit " you said, jumping out of your fort, catching yourself momentarily on the string lights around your four poster.

the lights stopped as theo made his way over to you to stop you from falling over.

the minute you were free you launched yourself into his arms, a bright smile on your face as you embraced the man you hadn't seen in weeks.

his arms wrapped tightly around you, lifting you from the floor as he did so, your legs instinctively wrapping themselves around his waist.

" what are you doing here? you weren't supposed to get here until tuesday " you questioned, not daring to move your head from the crook of his neck, instead choosing to continue imprinting his scent in your brain.

" i used the floo. my parents were being pricks and i just wanted to come and see you " he replied, his breath warm against your neck.

its as the mention of his parents that had you pulling back to look at him.

" are you okay? " you questioned, knowing the crap with his parents got to him quite easily.

" im perfectly fine, darling. but i'm here now, and i just want to enjoy some time with you before classes start next week. "

his reply caused your smile to widen even further.

" well then... " you started, lowering your legs from around his waist and taking his hand in yours.

" let me show you around my pillow fort "

your eyes lit up at the sight of your boyfriend.

" hey, sweetheart, what you been up to ?" he questioned, heading over to you and standing with his feet touching the couch, his shadow towering over you.

" just reading, where've you been ?" you questioned

" me and the boys took a trip to hogsmeade..." he paused, leaning down to whisper slightly in your ear.

" got you something, but you gotta come up to my room to see it " he whispered, a smirk on his lips when he pulled back to look at you.

you had never stood up faster, leading theo towards his own dorm room, a giddy smile on both of your faces.

i decided to combine these two requests x

your period was never something you were ashamed of.

it wasnt something you could control so it wasnt something you felt you could actually feel ashamed or embarrassed about.

but just because you weren't ashamed about it didnt mean that it was something you went around screaming from the rooftops.

especially not to your boyfriend.

there had been times during your friendship & relationship where you had been a little closed off, and it happened almost every month when your period came.

you would be a bit quieter in group conversations, sit up in your dorm room a lot more and shut a lot of people out.

but this was the first time you had truly pushed everyone away because of how much pain you were truly in.

you had been locked in your dorm for two days at this point with the worst cramps you had ever experienced.

your dorm mates had caught on two days ago and had just told everyone that you were unwell, which meant being left alone for two days.

a lot of the time that was exactly what you wanted, but after two days with almost no interaction, you were starting to miss your boyfriend.

subsequently, your boyfriend was starting to worry.

so after his second class of the day, he decided to go and see you and make sure you were okay.

he found you curled up on your side, your eyes clenched shut and your arms folded over your stomach.

" y/n ?"

your eyes fluttered open at the sound of your boyfriends voice.

" teddy ?" you questioned, moving to sit up on the bed but your cramps ultimately stopped you.

he took the few steps towards your bed, sitting down on the edge of it with his hand instinctively resting on your leg.

" haven't seen you in a couple days, sweetheart. thought i'd check up on you. "

you could feel your eyes burning at his care for you. he skipped his classes to come and see you and make sure you were okay.

" you look quite pale, baby, are you okay ?"

of course you weren't okay. your stomach was absolutely killing you and you were both shivering and sweating.

you shook your head against the pillow.

it wasnt something you were planning on telling theo but it seemed you had no choice.

" 've got my period, teddy. just need to lay in bed for a few days "

" 'm sorry, sweetheart. "

" not your fault...didnt mean to shut you out either.."

he moved closer to you, sitting up by your pillows and brushing your hair behind your ears.

" i get it. but will you let me help you feel a bit better ?"

there was no way in hell you were turning that down, and a soft smile settled on your lips at his offer.

he leant down and pressed a short kiss onto your forehead before standing from the bed and dotting around the room to collect things. when he returned to the bed he had a hoodie, a damp towel and he had taken most of his uniform off.

he eased you up from where you were laying and shed your sweater that had been soaked through with sweat.

after leading you into a warm shower, theo had changed your bed clothes and run down to the kitchen to get you some food and tea.

he had a pair of pyjama shorts & one of his hoodies for you to change into.

the minute you collapsed into bed theo fell down with you, his arms instantly wrapping around your torso, his hands resting over your stomach and basically acting as a hot water bottle.

he buried his head in the crook of your neck, enjoying the way you nestled up against him.

" thank you, no one's ever done something like this for me before "

he pressed a short kiss onto the junction between your shoulder & neck, smiling softly when he felt the goosebumps raising on your leg.

" don't have to thank me for this, baby. want to be there for you when you need me "

basically the times theo realised he was in love with you and the time he told you

theo had known you since you two were eleven.

he had been the first person you talked to on the train to hogwarts and then the two of you remained at each others sides throughout the entirety of hogwarts.

he would always sneak you up to his dorm at night, not a word spoken between you, you'd just sleep side by side. he would always make sure you were asleep before he fell asleep, needing to know you were safe before he even shut his eyes.

he would always walk you back to your common room after a class you had together. after everything that happened with ginny in the halls he felt better knowing he could protect you more than you could protect yourself from anything that might happen

it was only in your third year that theo got up the nerve to ask you out.

there was definitely apprehension on both parts because you didnt want to ruin your friendship.

but turns out that your relationship was even better.

it was like you were still best friends, you still slept in his dorm a lot and he still walked you back to your common room, but he just ended every interaction with a kiss to your cheek and the area he kissed darkening with a blush

when you come into the living room he's got everything set up, including his computer connected to speakers so you can enjoy it as loud as you want, as if you were surrounded by all those screaming swifties.

he watches in absolute awe as you sing along to every single word, smiling at every opportunity.

it's only when you gasp and jump off of the sofa that he turns his attention back to the screen to see what set you off.

You couldn’t think of anything other than the pain.

It was burning.

It was stinging.

And it was all you could focus on.

There were tears streaming down your face as you cradled your hand to your chest and hurried away from the classroom you had just been let out of.

Among the thoughts of truly how much it hurt, the only other thought on your mind was hurrying to the slytherin dungeons in hopes of finding theo in his dorm.

You muttered the password theo had given you with a shaky voice and pushed the door open with your side. Instead of finding your boyfriend in the common room, you found draco and pansy.

And both of them, being two of your closest friends, were immediately concerned when they saw you stood in the doorway with tears on your cheeks and your hand clutched to your chest.

“ what happened ?” pansy’s voice carried across the room as she set down her book and made her way across the room towards you.

Not wanting to burden your friends with your problem, you just decided to lie.

“ nothing. Where’s theo? You questioned, tucking both of your hands into the pockets of your robes, wincing slightly at the fabric against your skin.

“ he went to the library a little while ago. “

He wasn't even here.

You could feel your bottom lip beginning to wobble but you tried your best to keep yourself together.

“ okay- can I go up to his dorm and wait? “ you tried to keep your voice stable as you asked. You felt like you had to because this wasnt even your common room.

“ yeah, of course. Is everything alright, y/n ?” pansy questioned again, knowing something had to be wrong for you to be so upset.

“Mhmm” you answered, rushing past her and heading up to theo’s dorm. A place you had been many times before. You were honestly just glad there was no one else in there. It was just you.

You perched yourself on the end of theo’s bed and pulled your hands out of your pockets, shakily wiping your tears before your eyes focused on the words etched into the back of your hand.

I will not sneak around

You had been caught trying to get into the slytherin common room only a few hours ago when you knew theo was there. You had been doing this for years.

It was unfortunate that you were in a different house to the guy you liked. But you couldn’t help it. You had fallen in love with someone which was something you couldn’t control.

This new headmistress was making everyone miserable. She was alienating most of the students because they wanted a little free will. And you just happened to be one of them. One of the ones who wanted to socialise outside of your house and outside of your classes.

But you decided to risk it a second time just to see him.

You chose to change while you waited for theo to come back from the library.

Your robes were dropped onto the back of the chair by his desk along with your tie, shirt and skirt.

You kicked your shoes off under the chair and laid down on his bed, curled up on your side in only your underwear.

It took a surprising amount of energy being carved into.

Eventually you let your eyes fall shut, hoping you would be able to wake up before he found you there. You were just too exhausted to deal with the scar on your hand now.

When theo returned from the library with a stack of books under his arm, he found pansy and draco both looking immediately at him.

“ what ?” he questioned, confused as to why they were looking at him.

“ y/n’s waiting for you upstairs. “ pansy answered.

“ okay, why do you both look like you’re about to tell me my dog died ?” he said with a soft laugh. Not realising that actually it might be something serious.

“ she came in here about an hour ago crying and wouldn’t tell us what was wrong. “ draco spoke

“ thanks, man. Can you stay out of the dorm for half an hour while i talk to her?” theo didn’t really want someone walking in while he was talking to you, especially if he knew you were upset.

Draco just nodded before theo walked up to the dorm and knocked lightly on the door in case you weren’t decent.

When he got no answer, he let himself in and he wasnt sure if what he found was adorable or if it hurt.

You were asleep ontop of his sheets, in just your underwear.

Your back was to him so he toed off his shoes and walked around to the other side of the bed to see your face. There were tear tracks on your cheeks and you were clutching your hand to your chest.

Carefully, he lifted his hands to take yours , expecting to just take your hands and hope he could slowly wake you up.

But what he found actually hurt him.

Bloody words were etched into your skin and they looked fresh.

I will not sneak around

He didn't know what to do, but he decided first on waking you up so you knew he was here. His hand travelled up to your face, his thumb rubbing over your cheekbone to try and ease you out of your sleep.

“ teddy ?” your quiet voice rang through the room.

“ hey there, beautiful. How long have you been waiting here ?”

“ uhm, an hour, maybe ? i don’t know. “ you answered, sitting up slightly on the bed and pushing your hair from your face.

“ you want to tell me what happened here, baby ?” he asked, his eyes falling down to the words etched on the back of your hand.

Your eyes welled with tears at that. You had originally gone to him because you wanted his help, but now that he was here you just felt the need to hide it.

You pulled your hand back in an attempt to hide what the words actually said.

“ nothing, just got into a bit of trouble, it doesn’t even hurt. “

There was a brief pause where theo just looked at you. You felt your eyes burning slightly just from the way he looked at you.

“ did umbridge do this to you, love ?” he asked, standing from where he had been crouched down on the floor beside his bed.

You didn't really want to answer that. You knew that the moment you did, you wouldn’t be able to keep your tears back.

So you just sat there with your eyes down at the sheets below your body.

When he didn't say anything, you realised he was waiting for you to speak up before he did.

“ i don't want to talk about it, please..”

“ okay, you don't have to..” he lifted his hand to brush some of the hair away from your eyes. “ but please, let me help you, its not gonna stop hurting unless you do something about it. “

You didn't say anything, instead just nodded softly, knowing he was right. That if you didn’t do something it wouldn't get better.

Theo stood from the bed and walked through to his adjoining bathroom, leaving you sat on top of his bed.

When he returned he had a small box under his arm that he set on the bed before grabbing something from his dresser.

When he sat back down in front of you, you saw he had grabbed one of his jumpers and a first aid kit.

He carefully reached out for your hand before he reached into the box to grab alcohol, gauze and a bandage.

“ this is gonna sting, but not for long. “

You nodded softly and squeezed your eyes shut when he dabbed the hydrogen peroxide onto the back of your hand.

After that he placed gauze on the back of your hand before wrapping a bandage around it.

“ lift your arms up for me, baby “ he spoke softly, and you complied, smiling softly when he slid his sweater over your arms and over your body.

He set the box down on his nightstand before going to grab his own comfortable clothes as he was in his uniform.

He put his clothes on top of yours on the chair before changing into some plaid pyjama pants and a t-shirt before sitting down beside you on the bed.

“ better ?” he questioned softly.

You nodded softly before answering

“ yeah, thank you “

You shuffled a tiny bit closer to him and pressed a short kiss onto his lips.

Your eyes were still slightly puffy and your cheeks still a little red.

“ c’mon, i just wanna cuddle you now “ he said with a soft smile, shifting to lay down on the bed with his head against the pillow, his arm open for you to curl into.

You did exactly that. You laid in his arm and buried your head in the crook of his neck, draping your arm over his torso.

He pressed a short kiss onto your head that caused a smile to break through on your lips for the first time since you arrived at his dorm.
