Skkeirrr love the headcanon of Matt Engarde being Doug Swallow because while it’d make no sense chronically, narratively, or metaphorically it’d be fucking hilarious. Either Dahlia messing up another murder or Moug actually dying but somehow coming back c!jack style, probably just to spite Dahlia. And him meeting her (now ex) boyfriend again, only this time Matt’s the killer and manipulator, using someone he had once wanted to help and doing something he was once heavily against . Phoenix initially defending yet another horrible, guilty person but coming to his senses in the end and being the downfall of their plans. Anyway Matt and Dahlia end up in the same prison and stare each other down for multiple minutes before getting into a screeching cat fight.
