⊰ ♡ ⊱ ◦ BILLY ( @hargrxve )
The 32-hour drive had been filled with a plethora of metal tapes, from Billy’s favorites to his own, tiredly yelling to the lyrics while exchanging cigarettes and kisses. But the closer and closer they came to their destination, the heavier the atmosphere became, tasing of acrid ash and slowly crushing down upon their shoulders. ❝ You holding up okay? ❞ he asked, breaking the stifling silence. Though everything had started off as a merry getaway, Eddie knew the real reason they were here, why they had to lie to everyone around them. Lori. Billy’s mother. On the route to the search, neither could help but wonder, was she still here, in this maze of a city? And where was she hiding? Maybe it was the secrecy of the wild hunt that created so much tension and anxiety, worried someone would find out and come following straight after them. But that seemed to be Eddie’s life regardless of circumstance: a succession of anxious moments, interrupted only by the novelty of occasional panic. ❝ Maybe we should save the fun for after we go lookin’, yeah? You look like you’re not even on this planet anymore, man. Don’t want a giant wave or a stampede of pretty girls carrying you away from me ‘cause you’re not paying attention. ❞ At that, he leaned over the center console and started shaking Billy’s arm violently. If that didn’t pull him from his trance, then his wonderful shrieking would, wouldn’t it? ❝ HELLOOO! EARTH TO BILLY! THIS IS MAJOR MUNSON FROM FUCKING GROUND CONTROL. DO YOU READ? ❞

⊰ ✦ ⊱ ◦ SID ( @brokenalibi )
Mid-July heat turned the Munson trailer into an oversized oven, nearly roasting Eddie alive. Painting his miniatures for future D&D campaigns was usually done down to a science, so adroit in every minute detail, yet now his hands shook, drenched in sweat. Mistakes littered the expensive figures now. No doubt the entire trailer park heard his yells of ❝ FUCK! ❞ or ❝ GOD DAMNIT! GOD FUCKING DAMNIT! ❞ through the wide open window. Brushes and paint were slammed down on his makeshift table, and Eddie hoisted himself up to stomp his way outside. Maybe all he needed was a bit of fresh air, a walk to cool down, both mentally and physically. And so he let his feet carry him wherever the heated wind blew, right down to the best spot the park had to offer: the Heisenberg residence. If the day ended without either of the Munson twins barreling down on the Heisenberg boys, or vice versa, then everything felt wrong until the next day when they could rectify what was missing (with the addition of a bowl or two). With a nod to Robert, who was chatting up a neighbor in the distance, Eddie slipped into the dimly lit living room of the trailer. Luminescent specks blinded him from the immediate transfer of sunlight to darkness, and he stumbled briefly, catching himself on a chair. A figure could be made out in the hallway by the bathroom, hunched over with their hair wrapped up neatly in a bonnet. Was this the legendary Heisenberg monarch, still kicking it? He’d never met her in his entire eight years at the park, assuming she may be six feet under at this point, but now he was required to be on his best behavior and put on his ❛ good boy ❜ voice. ❝ Mrs. Heisenberg, ma’am, I can’t believe I’m getting the chance to finally fuc—I mean. Frickin’. Meet the one and only beautiful OG of the bun— ❞ And then the figure before him straightened and turned, a horror to be seen. Eddie’s banshee wail infiltrated the trailer, as he was met with Sid instead.

⊰ ✦ ⊱ ◦ ROBBIE ( @sentinel007 )
Tiny coughs echoed from the corridor, harsh and constricted. For nearly a week, Robbie had missed class, seemingly weaker by the day. If it hadn't been for Eddie spending late nights finishing all of his missing assignments for him, the administrators would no doubt be breathing down Wayne's neck and threatening to make Robbie repeat the eighth grade. The more Eddie could free their uncle from concern, the better, and despite being the youngest, he took his role as temporary caregiver seriously whilst Wayne worked double shifts. ❝ Robbie, you gotta sit up a little… ❞ The susurration crept into the dimly lit bedroom from the doorway. Careful as can be, Eddie ever so slowly carried a tray filled with everything his twin needed; Tylenol and cough syrup, tissues and water, cough drops and tomato soup and a slightly burnt grilled cheese (Robbie was so stuffed up, he wouldn't taste the char anyway). ❝ Uncle Wayne said he promised for sure he'd be home tomorrow, so he'll make you something better. For now, dude, you hafta' deal with the cheese. ❞
