tiffany met your character in an online chatroom. they’ve never met irl. the chatroom could be about anything! some of tiff’s interests include UFOs, urban legends, the writings of monique washington quincy l.w., and fanfiction (fanfiction.net was established 1998), kate bush, and movies of all kinds, but she’s got very diverse interests so we can find some middle ground there. tiff was drawn to your character and now they exchange emails frequently: is your character another lonely person just trying to connect? is she getting catfished? are they laughing at her and just participating in the emails because it’s funny? anything is possible!  i think it would be fun to explore this just through emails, and maybe eventually lead to them meeting irl - - - O P E N

⚢ i kissed a boy and i (didn’t) like it !

tiffany didn’t always know she was gay; she experimented a bit to figure it out. if your character is male/masc presenting and grew up at xavier’s (or would have some other reason to have met tiff) then perhaps they are the lucky rogue! perhaps they dated for a bit, tiff eventually breaking it off when she realised she wasn’t attracted to him. he’d be the first person to know she’s actually gay, and it’s up to you if they stayed friends or if he was hurt by being an experiment to her, or something else entirely! ideally the character should be 20-24 years old as i envision them being peers - - - O P E N

after a lifetime of low self esteem, tiff really wants to get out of her dead end job and do something. she may not be a mutant but she wants to figure out a way to leave her mark on the world in some small, positive way. she’s hoping to go to college for political science (perhaps human-mutant relations if such a class might exist in this verse) but she has a lot of studying to do! tiffany’s not stupid but she has held herself back a lot so she’ll have to work hard. does your character spend a lot of time in the library? maybe they can help her study; if they’re in politics in some way perhaps they can even give tiffany a little insight into that world! this is a pretty vague notion so we can hash out specifics depending on your character, but basically if your character is library-oriented/intellectual/political then i probably wanna talk! - - - T A K E N

new york is a scary place to be right now. tiffany might not know exactly what’s going on but she can tell a storm is brewing, and she feels increasingly unsafe. wanting to look into self defence options, she meets your character at krav maga, or a women’s self defence class, or even the gun range - tiff can be flexible to whatever works best for your character. she will suck at whatever option it is, so perhaps your character is an experienced practitioner and can offer her some guidance, or perhaps they’re a fellow noob and the two of them team up to support each other on their journeys. - - - T A K E N

taxis? in this economy? tiff often finishes work late at night and walks home by herself, making herself a prime target for criminal behaviour. if your character saw her getting mugged, would they swoop heroically in and save her? she’ll imprint on them like a duckling and be forever grateful. or, for a little more spice, if your character is evil then maybe they’re the one mugging her, whether for money or just for funsies, and tiffany being of a naïve kind nature will assume they really need her money more than she does, and ask if they’re hungry and she’ll try and take them to buy some food. - - - T A K E N

i say this with as much understanding as possible, but you did circumvent the block. just because your intent wasn’t to be mean or rude doesn’t mean you didn’t violate that boundary. people are allowed to disengage with you as they see fit, and i understand the urge to explain yourself and smooth things over, but you don’t get an “ignore a stranger’s boundaries” pass for that.

She’s not a stranger, she’s a public figure. It’s not a boundary to block some kid for making a mistake. She responded to me so clearly she wanted me to see it. I’m not an evil fucking person for trying to apologize for something she made it impossible for me to see without looking from a different account. Literally all I said was “I’m sorry I made a mistake and confused you with a different hermit” and she told me I was a rude liar and blocked me again, then made a SEPARATE post about me and let her fanbase attack me and say I’m a “narcissist” and deserved to be hit and all of this shit for making a mistake. Goddammit. :((( I really don’t want to be mean to her but she is taking this too far… I made one mistake and have an issue with tone. I didn’t try and “circumvent her block” because I wanted to be mean, I just wanted to explain because she didn’t give me the chance to do so. I have no clue how I’m supposed to continue liking hermitcraft, every time I think about it I want to cry, man. This is my second 3-4 year interest that’s been screwed up for me. OK. So... this reminds me of my cat. My cats are getting old, they're around 17-18, and they stopped grooming themselves. They also keep to themselves a lot so we didn't notice until recently, I feel really bad. They're both knotted to the point where we have to shave them, so far we've only shaved Ivy. The thing is... Ivy is a tiny cat, she's just naturally smaller than average so without the hair on her body (we didn't shave her head, tail, and legs obv), she looks like that skrunkly cat meme adfkl;afjdlks;nlsa; I feel so bad but it's better than her being so unsanitary with the knots, also we got her a little shirt for modesty.

Mistake or not, you directly attacked her integrity as a person.

You circumvented a block.

No one has attacked you, you were not called a narcissist, your actions were called narcissistic. This is different.

You are continuously refusing to accept full responsibility for insulting someone and denying them their right to exist.

You need to accept that what you did was wrong and stop making excuses for it.

Also, if you're going to call someone out for being supportive of dsmp members, it's really questionable to have an entire twitter with a Grian avatar.

My Twitter has a Castiel icon wtf are you talking about??? And my other one is a drawing of me so really I have no clue how you got that. And this account has an avatar of Marty from the bt/tf telltale game. The only one of my accounts that has a Grian avatar is my kin account and that’s self explanatory.

Also I have made my discomfort with any of the hermits supporting/interacting w dsmp members clear!! I think it’s bad, straight up and I know there’s not much I can do about it. I just get pent up sometimes and that’s why I replied to cleo with that. My whole mistake was that I messed up her with the other hermits!!! I know the other hermits have interacted with dsmp!! That’s how the mistake happened!!!

Also the started I’m talking about is starting this whole argument. Maybe I did start it, idk man. Thats really not important.

I’ve said multiple times that I know what I said at the start was wrong. I know I shouldn’t have made the tweet and I should’ve thought more before posting it and not made a mistake. I’m not excusing myself there. Also how am I “denying her the right to exist”, what does that mean seriously.

I did not “circumvent a block” in attempt to harass her or be mean or literally anything negative. I just wanted to read her response she obviously wanted me to see. After reading it and realizing I had made a mistake, I really didn’t want her to feel hurt by it and I wanted to apologize and tell her I didn’t know. That’s ALL I said. That was it.

I’m so sick of arguing about this. I’ve said this already so many times. If you don’t think anything I’ve said already doesn’t make me this awful person you think I am, there’s not much more I can tell you than just leave it alone. I’m sorry it seems to have come across like I want to hurt people or I’m being rude on purpose or whatever. There’s not anything else I can tell you.
