002. EXTRA ORDINARY
near death experience… in 2010 , carter's watching his younger brother ( dylan ) and dylan wants to go hiking ! carter wholeheartedly agrees because the kid wants to go explore the world – who is he to stop him ? so they go hiking a little outside the city limits where the rocks are piled high and it's starting to get a little windy , the sky starts to dim into a dark blue-ish color . a storm is coming and carter didn't check the weather before the hike , so when the storm starts and rocks starts to become wet and slippery due to the rain , dylan slips – dylan falls down the rocky path and carter's unable to save him because his foot gets caught in between rocks in this heavily rocky path and carter's now stuck alone with no cell phone reception or his brother . then , the storm gets so bad that rocks start to shift , slide around until he's caught in the path of heavy boulders tumbling down his path . bruised and stuck , carter finds himself stuck underneath rubble for ( what he finds out later by the news reports ) 24 hours before he's considered dead upon arrival . but , a miracle happens and carter finds himself waking up in a hospital bed hours later having brought back to life after being resuscitated but unfortunately the good news came with bad , his brother is still not found .
power… carter has the ability of superhuman strength ! carter is able to strike foes with superhuman force , lift massive objects and throw them with ease , create makeshift weapons and tools out of basic objects by physically manipulating them , break through reinforced barriers with relative ease , use his strength to leap great distances , and take minimal damage through his strong exterior .
drawbacks / vulnerabilities… due to his constant use of superhuman strength , originating as early as 2010 , using his power puts a continuous strain on his mental – developing reoccurring migraines that could last for weeks after strenuous use of his super strength . due to his migraines , carter then becomes agitated easily , sensitive to sunlight , and has can exude random angry outbursts .
cerberus corp… carter is a level i agent for cerberus corp – he started as level iii and worked his way up the ranks quickly ; he was actively recruited by ji-young han , one of the founders for cerberus corp , during a group therapy session for losing family members , an event that carter had attended to weekly . ji-young had sought him after it had been reported on national news that carter had saved a child from a household fire using his superhuman strength , the kind of power ( and pr ) cerberus was shooting for when creating their structure back then . carter had always craved to be a hero – to be there when people needed it the most – and with little convincing , and mutual shared experiences with similar powers , carter had joined cerberus in 2011 with a hard vouch from ji-young . carter is an excellent field agent , serving as one of the training coordinators for cerberus for level ii and level iii agents , and enjoys working with team members despite the many who seem to dislike working with the cookie cutter agent . he is a stickler for the rules on missions and follows them through and through !
codename… stronghold was given to him by the fans / public ! before he was recruited into cerberus , he had saved a child from a housefire where he had lifted heavy debris so the child could escape – national news lapped up that story to where the public had started calling this mysterious person the nation's stronghold . cerberus , especially the pr team , loved the idea for carter to keep that nickname and so , continues forward as agent stronghold . he doesn't particularly mind if people use stronghold as a nickname , he neither likes it nor dislikes it .
003. HEADCANONS
a lot of the paintings in the facility are actually there to hide the fact that carter has punched some of those walls so hard due to his anger issues , it's basically unfixable .
he reads every fan letter he receives because it makes him think of his missing younger brother .
carter cannot cook to save his life . he once burnt spaghetti in his house once , tried to extinguish the flames by covering the pot with the lid , smashed the lid through the stovetop , and had to get cerberus to pay for a replacement .
volunteers at foot pantries once a week – not for pr purposes , just because he enjoys them .

someone he's trying to ' fix ' ?? carter is a Good Guy™ and there are people here who's ... not ?? so he makes it a mission to fix them , whether they like it or not !

The Beginning: 001
Lacey enjoyed parties. She may not have always been the most outgoing person in the world, but give her a party, a bit of liquid courage, and at least a couple of friends she knew, then she was good to go. Carter threw parties pretty frequently, whether there was a reason to celebrate or not, and both Lacey and Gia had always ended up on the guest list since they had first met the Clare siblings, and with the way Carter looked at Gia, Lacey figured thy wouldn’t change any time soon. Plus, Lacey had grown incredibly close with Catherine. The two girls hung back in the kitchen, as Lacey mixed the both of them up a couple of drinks. “Have you heard from Silas?” She asked curiously, rather surprised he hadn’t arrived yet. From what she had seen he typically wasn’t the most social of people either, but he usually followed Cat around like a lost puppy. Lacey handed Catherine her drink, before leaning back against the counter. “Carter is fucking wild.” She laughed a little, noticing the male in the living room, leading a drinking game for a crowd of people.

HAIR COLOR & STYLE: when the topic in question regards personal style, it's hard to describe jordan's seeing as it is ever-changing. he has dreads and, most of the time, that's the extent he'll go to with his hairstyle. every so often, he'll get tired of having his hair down and he'll go for pigtails — which is one of his favorites hair styles — or a ponytail. when he wants his hair completely out of his way, he'll section his hair and part it in two cornrows and on the rare, he wears half of his hair up and the other half down.

What makes me happy about them: that they’re both autistic :P that you can have a dynamic where the female character is more teasing of the male character (where usually it is the opposite). That there’s a dynamic where the male character isn’t super overprotective of the female character. That they like sparring 2gether and its super charming. Many things.
What makes me sad about them: 5 years they spend apart between Rise of the Emperor and Kotfe

I know when I ran an alternate universe bounty hunter Tank, she was in a relationship with Torian and Theron (not like… canonically at the same time none of this is canonical it was just who she was a) allowed to flirt with according to the video game and b) hit it off with) Jorgan’s harder to read. I put him as BFFs w/ Dorne, but not like… romantically involved.
My happily ever after for them: they retire and spend rest of their days just chilling or training people but not getting shot at any more or having the responsibility of the galaxy on their heads anymore. Kids: Optional but not required

How I feel about this character: I like her. I think she’s pretty cool but not one of the characters I go out of my way to read a ton.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: no one. Sorry carter (her canon ship at least in new earth). Haven’t really seen enough of her interactions to have the non canon ship yet
My non-romantic OTP for this character: I liked her interaction with John in Justice League so far
My unpopular opinion about this character: hopefully not unpopular but: The hawkman series 4 just is terrible writing to her. Treats her like shit. She has some strong characterization tied into one arc and then once it’s over they drop it ASAP and give her character traits that seem to be mostly just “the girlfriend”
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: they should have explored more her anger and the ND stuff They also should let her kick as much ass as hawkman.

004 Oh man I have no clue. DC/SWTOR have any compatible characters?
I guess one I can see:
Elara Dorne/Cass Cain They were both raised by bad guys (Elara - the imps, Cass - Cain). They both left not because someone asked them to or because they were forced to but because they realized that what they were doing/being asked to do was wrong. They’re both obviously autistic. They both don’t socialize like everyone else - Elara is very formal and precise in most of her speech and adheres to rules and regulations because a) it helps her understand what is expected of people and b) they are used to enforce doing the right thing (remembering her saying that the sith discarded any rules any time they felt like it and killed whoever they wanted). Cass is obviously a little overprotective of her friends at time (remember when she knocked Steph out to keep her out of a dangerous fight?) and seems like some people read her as intimidating because of her past or difficulty with words (Tim said he was avoiding her because of her past at first).
Even if they weren’t romantically involved, they would get along great. I think they would both be able to appreciate chilling without pretenses or putting on social conditioning you don’t have. And they’d be able to share their hobbies w/ each other. And since Elara is a soldier, she could spar Cass! Obviously not w/ Cass’s talent in hand-2-hand but w/e

Hair Hues of Radiata Stories
Here is the complete list of all the Radiata Stories characters (both recruitable and NPCs) taken from Fuck Yeah Radiata Stories and sorted by hair colour. There are a couple things I want to add.
First off, while most of the characters fit neatly into one of the eight categories, there are some characters whose hair colour was more ambiguous (i.e. dark blonde vs. light brown hair). I placed them where I thought they were best fit.
Black and blue are the same category because some of the black-haired characters like Cairn have a bluish tint and technically speaking, black pigment is really just a dark blue anyway.
There are some characters who are either bald or have their head covered so you can’t tell the colour of their head hair. Instead of classifying them as bald or unknown, I classified them based on the colour of their facial hair and eyebrows. This is why Dynas is in with the brunettes instead of the baldies.

001 » Benjamin is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona and moved to Los Angeles, California when he was twenty-two years old. He had a close group of friends when he was younger, and in high school, Benjamin wasn’t popular but not unpopular either.
002 » At the age of sixteen, Benjamin met Eleanor Campbell, as she had moved to Arizona from Washington DC. The two of them instantly hit it off and the two of them spent a lot of time together, which resulted in the two of them falling in love.
003 » They were together for four years, being what people thought of as the perfect high school couple. And, to begin with, everything seemed perfect with the two of them. The first year of University, Benjamin struggled to balance everything but as the two of them had moved into an apartment on campus, the relationship didn’t suffer.
004 » A couple of months into the first year of university, Eleanor started feeling sick. She was throwing up a lot and didn’t have a lot of ____. She spent the day, and night, in bed, for days. At first they thought it was just the regular flu, but when it continued and she didn’t get any better, Benjamin started to get worried and got her to book an appointment with her doctor. It was the beginning of the end for the two.
005 » Eleanor had cancer. Leukemia. The doctors quickly put her on chemotherapy. Things were looking up for a little while after a couple of months of chemo, and the two of them were out on a date as they had their five year anniversary date. Throughout everything, Benjamin stood by Eleanor - although it had made its impact on him too. The two of them were out for dinner, at the restaurant he had brought her to on their first date, and they enjoyed themselves immensely in each other’s company, when Eleanor got up to go to the bathroom. That’s when it happened. Eleanor passed out.
006 » Eleanor was picked up by the ambulance, and hurried to the hospital. The doctors managed to resuscitate her, but only to be given worse news. The cancer had spread, and sadly, the doctors couldn’t do more. Eleanor’s body was giving up and she was given only a couple of weeks left. Benjamin, only twenty-one years old at the time, stuck around, although it was a lot to handle for a kid in his twenties.
007 » Benjamin went to school, tried to have a normal life, and went to stay with Eleanor during the night at the hospital. He would read her books and watch movies with her. He would hold her hair whenever she had to throw up. He was laying next to her in bed, watching Donald Duck and his friends on Christmas Day, when he laughed at something that happened on the screen. He spoke to Eleanor, telling her something, but Eleanor didn’t respond. That’s when he noticed how she had stopped breathing and seconds later, the machine started beeping. Eleanor died that morning, at 8:23pm.
008 » After Eleanor’s funeral, Benjamin tried to go back to school. He tried to get back to normal, but it was easier said that done. The young man’s body and mind was done. It was exhausted. That was when, after a discussion with his psychologist, that he came to the decision that he needed to move. Get away from Arizona and the memories of Eleanor. He applied for a Los Angeles university and got in, which made it easier to move across the country. It was just what he needed too.
