a pet peeve of mine is when subs default to the tannies' stage names and not what was actually said like. i heard jimin said taehyungie and not v!!!!! i heard it with my own two ears you cant fool me!!! one of the most egregious examples i can remember off the top of my head is from bv3, i think? when jungkook said something like 'taehyungie hyungie' and the subs just said 'V' 😑😑😑😑😑

I genuinely began to tweak when someone tells they wish for More focus on Aegon and less on Alicent, like if the first time we readed something about the dance of the Dragons was not a short story called THE QUEEN AND THE PRINCESS. Like if the one of the story's main purposes was not to analyze the place of the feudal women had in politics and how they managed their power in a society that is constantly hurting them and pushing them aside. Like if for Rhaenyra's character Alicent (Both in show and in book) was not important, like if they were not narrative foils, and examples of a woman having power extended by the men in her life vs a woman that had power that was hers by own right. Even for Rhaenyra's character Alicent IS IMPORTANT. You cannot have a complete Rhaenyra if you do not focus on Alicent's actions and how They impact on Rhaenyra's life

Me after being diagnosed with ADHD: it's sad that it took until my 20s to figure this out, but no one really knew what they were doing with it back in the 90s/early 2000s. I'm glad it's better today so that if my kids need help they'll get it.

Me now with a daughter showing CLEAR signs of ADHD and dyslexia, trying to get a shred of help or acknowledgement in an overburdened school and medical system: oh.
