#personal #and i say this as someone who liked pre-avengers mcu and does genuinely enjoy watching the winter soldier movie #and i'll also admit that the netflix marvel stuff kinda dropped off in quality after the defenders #but the stuff before then like daredevil seasons 1-2 and jessica jones season 1 are basically unmatched in comic media #(i never got around to luke cage or iron fist but i've got time off so i might change that) #but like my point is that what they were doing was so much better than what the mcu was putting out at the time #like you know what came out the same year as daredevil season 1 and jessica jones season 1? fucking age of ultron #like they did both that fucking dumpster fire and literally jessica jones #fucking h o w
