((the issue, if any, i think would be the fact that i straight up do not participate in the cookie run fandom anymore lhkjhlk there are so many new characters that i do not care about/care for/know exist and my worry is that, because they are new and exciting, they will be the only characters i get asks about. i have become so far detached from the games and lore that i am just doing my own thing at this point,

((which is fine too! but i refuse to let go of previous writing and notes for lore for MY characters. the biggest example being Burnt's backstory and a large motivation for his character.

((i think the easiest way forward would be to just tack on the words "extremely divergent AU" instead of "headcanon heavy" in the blog description and hope people get what i mean

[Rosy/Sparkling] - Sparkling takes Rose out to dress up prim and proper, and Rosy helps Sparkling relax and be more casual!

[Rosy/Lemon] - HUGE “it’s not like I like you or anything” vibes from Lemon. Probably the most well received ship on this list.

[Burnt/Cherry Blossom] - Started as a joke over the “dirty messy burnt guy and the prissy clean pink girl”, actually kind of cute now that I think about it?

[Candy Heart/DJ] - Rivals (derogatory) to rivals (affectionate). They probably make silly mean tweets about each other.

[Candy Heart/Pink Choco] - Lovecore cookies; probably childhood friends that watched each other grow up to be exactly who they wanted to.

How do we raise Rosy and Burnt's affection? :O

((The Affection Meter works a lot like the one in Ovenbreak--you can do a few things to raise affection!

((The easiest way would just be talking and interacting with the cookies. Helping them along with their story, learning more about their past, or just asking them about their day!

((You can also give them things! Though, this one is a bit harder. Only important things; relevant to their future, will be added to their inventory. Smaller things, like gifts of food, or trinkets, won't make an impact on their affection meter, and won't get added to their inventory.

((However, UNLIKE the Affection Meter in Ovenbreak, you can lose affection with the cookies here. Pushing buttons, being purposefully rude to them, or forcing them into situations that would make them uncomfortable could have heavy impacts on how they react in the future.

((In very extreme cases, treating characters poorly could even affect their five stats. They may become less likely to answer truthfully, or less willing to talk with others. Of course, this will only happen if you approach them with malicious intent, and do so multiple times. And you're not that kind of person, right?))

((A little bit of both! Marshnyallow is actually surprisingly strong for such a little cat, especially on walks where he gets to run around as far and as fast as he can. As a result, Rosé Champagne (who is nowhere near the strongest cookie out there, being a graphic designer with absolutely no magical ability) winds up getting dragged around on a string!))
