i think fin fin could reasonably exist within splatoon canon

#inklings/octolings are the main species shown to have taken on traits from land creatures but like #1. as far as i can remember we havent seen any dolphins in splatoon #and 2. its not like every species of sea creature evolved to behave like humans #like sure urchins and anemones and horseshoe crabs have been shown to have human-like traits #but like. zapfish are clearly still just Animals #theres a sign in inkblot art academy that shows a sea slug on a leash so we can assume that theyre about on the level of dogs #so its not out of the question that dolphins could evolve to fly and eat lemo fruit. ok thank u 4 listening #this goes in the tag actually #finfin #finfin sweep #anyway the only real issue is the whole. splatoon is set on earth and fin fin is from teo #but i mean more like. if i saw fin fin in splatoon id be like. ya that checks out
