I am never going to shut up about how happy it makes me that CRWBY loves Bumbleby. Just knowing there are people who worked on the show who have said they're obsessed with the Bees and who requested to work on their confession scene just makes my heart feel so full.

I still can't stop thinking about how the bridge scene is one of, if not the most beautiful scene in the whole show. What it represents and conveys is also beautiful, but my god the way it looks? It's absolutely unreal and knowing how much the people who worked on it loved it makes it even more beautiful.

I can't get over how beautiful the cover art for The Edge is.

Just the fact that we get Blake and Yang holding hands on it??? It's like they've waited so long for them to officially be canon and they've been holding back this whole time and now they don't need to anymore and they're taking every opportunity they have to say "Hello, Blake and Yang are in love and it's so beautiful and something to be celebrated."

I loooooove that they're framed in the center so it's one of the first things your eyes will be drawn to. I know the framing is partly because Ruby is in the foreground so it looks better to have Blake and Yang in the center if they're going to be holding hands rather than on the right or left, and they were the first ones to go through the portal in the show, but it still makes me so happy.

And the contrast of Yang reaching for Blake in the volume poster and them ending the volume holding hands in both the show and the cover art for the ending is so sweet.

And similarly, Ruby looking back with this soft smile compared to how uncertain she looks in the volume poster made me cry.

I don't know if you're looking for anything specific, but I did make this.

Wait. I need a moment to process that you can say "the Bees makeout scene" and I'm able to think "Yes, that is a thing that exists in canon." Fucking wild.

I actually don't really like how that gif of the Bees making out turned out because I wanted to keep their full bodies to see Blake's little leg pop, but I also didn't want to drastically change the aspect ratio. And now they're tragically smaller than I would have wanted because the details of the movements of them making out is. A lot.

Make this real quick for myself because I want to stare forever at how into it they got. This loop is also just really fun.

The Always Open with Arryn is so cute. They both have the biggest smiles whenever they talk about the Bees.

My favourite things they talked about are:

They always knew Blake and Yang would fall in love eventually, but they didn't really know when or how it would happen

Arryn asked every volume if it was time yet and would get grumpy when they told her not yet because they wanted to slowburn

They were both the most nervous they've ever been about recording the confession because they wanted it to be perfect

Barbara loved that Bumbleby was a ship so many people latched onto before it even became obvious in the show

I still can't believe they waited until they were in a world where metaphors can physically manifest to have Blake and Yang confess their love for each other so they could physically show what it feels like when you want to express something so big and important but also scary because it makes you so vulnerable.

I know "I think your cat ears are cute" is probably the most shallow of the truths they told each other, but I still love it so much because Yang admitting she finds something about Blake physically attractive is so adorably innocent.

And the contrast between the exuberant way she shouts "You have cat ears!" and how softly she says "I think your cat ears are cute" just melted my heart. And her face when she says it.

It's so open and honest and so so so so sweet.

I know in my heart that Yang's reunion with Raven did not go the way Yang would have expected it to go, because the Raven who left Yang in the vault would not have smiled at Qrow like that (it's just an animatic and they're not 100% one to one with the finished product, but they lingered on that smile and Qrow's reaction for SO LONG that it's obviously Significant), and I am just so desperate for volume 10 to see that play out.

I also want a cheek kiss. And a forehead kiss. A nose kiss would also be cute. The holy grail is a hand kiss where their fingers are intertwined. One of those kisses where one of them is touching the other's face and they turn and kiss their palm.

As funny as it is that Blake and Yang have both been like "We didn't get along at first" and the whole fandom is like "What are you talking about? Do you mean the literal first five minutes after you met?", I really love how it kind of implies they both think a lot about how their introduction to each other went and how they could have easily given up on each other right then and lost the most precious relationship in their lives before it even began.
