Duel-wielder. Most well-known gremlin in the wild west, known for his elusiveness and ability to escape from basically any trap set for him.

Strategic and powerful, Killer is well-known and a point of extreme anger among the upperclass citizens, but all the people in the lower classes adore his charming, cocky attitude and vibe with him well.

He only targets upperclass people, stealing their riches more for shits 'n giggles than genuinely needing the money.

i didnt post it on here but i talked about it on discord but au where ariane and elster do make it back from the penrose mission not for any of the reasons people usually want that but because i think by that point they'd be so dangerously codependent and weird they literally could not function in normal society and i think that's a fun idea

yknow stuff like ariane finds herself watching those same movies with elster that they did on the ship still because it's the only thing that feels familiar and safe anymore because oh wait the regular world has a LOT of stuff and now it's a sensory nightmare and i thought i wanted this but now its too much too fast and nothing makes sense now

ariane not responding when people other than elster talk to her and staring right through them because she'd gotten so used to hallucinating family members near the end she just assumes that's what's happening now so she doesn't even bother replying

elster doing everything for her and being unable to be separated from her for very long before she starts to freak out and worry something bad has happened to her. plus ariane being physically unable to care for herself at that point anyway from the frostbite she definitely has or whatever other injuries you want to give her.

neither one of them ever saying something like "were you talking to -me-?" it's always "were you talking to -us-?"

New AU idea: Mop-arian (aka the little dummy Varain made in SOTSD that showed up for two seconds) takes the place of Varian post Season one and no one notices. Mop-arain isn't sentient or anything, it's all just a lot of very well placed coincidences that lead to the exact same outcome as the original series.

Heheheheh.

Killer is probably trying to distance himself as much as possible. As soon as you're near him he is out immediately. He's terrified of catching feelings and so desperately doesn't want to have to go through that disappointment. But if you do manage to corner this Houdini somehow, he's going to be a nervous trainwreck. Laughing nervously, sweating, and a red blush forming on his face. If you manage to catch him and corner him, you better keep him or he's going to gap it out of town as quick as possible.

Dust is admittedly likely a lot more comfortable around you, actually. Nervous, sure, but he's beginning to be a whole lot more open to talking about himself with you- as well as getting close to slowly ridding himself of his scarf, poncho, and gloves (leaving his relaxed blouse, pants and shoes as well as his hat). He might start to hang around a lot more, as well as just... looking at you. Adverting his obvious eyelight whenever you two make eye-contact.

Horror is... adorably attached? Flustered, definitely, whenever you compliment him on anything he does for you- which leads us onto our next thing he does: things. For you. A lot of them. That guttering you've been meaning to get to for a while? He's got you. That dusting you haven't done for ages? He's got you. Too tired to cook yourself a meal? He's got you.

Nightmare ups the charm but also ups the distance. He'll come to you less and less, internally concerned with all of these emotions and kind of internally panicking because "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa". Commitment issues? He has 'em. Not as bad as Killer does but uh... he's definitely struggling, pfft. Snatch him and haul him into your life- he'll go willingly enough.

Cross is like. A genuine schoolboy. Flustered and dying whenever you get close to him- stumbling over his words and getting you silly little gifts he thinks you'll like. Invite him over to hang out- he really, really wants to spend time with you.
