A couple of very Dashing kids. Initially, I planned for Soarin to be their father but then I shifted from mainly shipping Soarindash to Thunderdash. Part of it’s cuz I thought it’d be interesting to combine Dashie and Thunderlane’s colors (rainbow mane and black coat? sounds badass), another part’s cuz Dashie’s a character I wanted to try a less popular/mainstream ship with. But then I also felt it’d be cute for them to have a friends to lovers thing going on. So here’re the results of that friends to lovers romance, Thunder Blaze (upper left) and Cloud Buster (lower right)! CB’s one of my next gen pones who had an old design…not that he changed much, lol (I just adjusted his colors).

Thunder Blaze was partially named after her maternal great-uncle, Rainbow Blaze, since he’s Dash’s favorite uncle.

Cloud Buster has a condition wherein he sheds a lot of feathers, hence his expression in the drawing. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like he’ll go completely bald, but he still leaves a lot of stray feathers. He’s basically like a pug, lol.

They have that kind of relationship where they bicker, tease, and annoy each other a lot. So basically they’re like the typical siblings. While they do love each other, they’re hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, much less say it out loud.

Between the two of them, Thunder Blaze has a longer wingspan, something she likes to lord over her younger brother. It’s this fact that’s one of Cloud Buster’s sore spots.

Dinky Hooves was Cloud Buster’s first crush. She had been introduced to him when Thunderlane bumped into his friend Derpy while the two of them were spending a day out with one of their kids. Cloud Buster would swear up and down that it was love at first sight when he saw the purple unicorn.

Neither of them were really interested in joining the Wonderbolts, much to Dash’s exasperation. Thunder Blaze did decide to try out the entrance tests but saw that it wasn’t truly her calling, so she opted out of it, while Cloud Buster didn’t really try due to lack of interest and being much lazier compared to his sister. It took lots of heart-to-heart talking, mostly from her husband, but Dash eventually relented and accepted that they wanted to follow their own paths.

For the most part, Cloud Buster’s pretty chill and laidback…until you insult him or his friends and/or family, then he gets really defensive. If it’s his flying skills that are insulted/criticized, he gets outright competitive.

Cloud Buster’s quite fond of his uncle Rumble and until now, he’s his #1 fan. He’s been his most avid supporter since day one and encouraged him to keep trying for the Wonderbolts despite his personal disinterest in them. Normally, he wouldn’t really watch any of their performances, but a show where Rumble participates is the sole exception to this.

Thunder Blaze is allergic to peanuts, a fact that she’s embarrassed about. She’s tried multiple times to “build up tolerance” but all of these attempts have landed her in the hospital. Really, the only thing stopping her from trying once again is her mother telling her that one more peanut stunt and she’s sending her to Tartarus.

In her pre-teen years, Thunder Blaze had an emo/goth/punk phase, much to Thunderlane’s exasperation and Dash’s confusion. During this phase, she would dye her mane black and red, wear lots of (sticker) tattooes, play off-key on a bass guitar and write (cringey) poems and songs. Pictures of herself during this phase are Cloud Buster’s leverage against her when he needs a favor from her.

Is beast morphers worth the watch, I haven't seen much of rpm but I've heard they are similar. Or should I just watch Go-Busters instead?

It’s a good show, I mean there’s annoying stuff, but I’d recommend watching it simply because Blaze and Roxy are one of the BEST villain duos in existence~

It has a couple of issues, and one of those lies in the second half of Season 2, relying too heavily on “unexplained lore”, but other than that, I’d say definitely give it a go! It was fun in its run, and like I already said, Blaze and Roxy rock. Plus there’s heartwarming moments every now and then (the one with Zoey’s mom has my entire heart) so yeah.. I’m pretty positive about it!

Go Busters IS definitely heavier, and I’m planning on rewatching it sometime soon too ^^

Clarifications,,,

-first photo r official names if your didnt know! the rest r made up :3

-i was a bit confused if Buster was actually Killer when i looked at her ref,,, but i just assumed it wasnt her for the sake of making another char ^_^

-it was probably just an error, but one of the bunnygirls had black cuffs (In Miffys ref photo), so i came up wuth the brilliant idea that skullbunnies with black cuffs were newbies and the more experienced ones have white

-some of these girls r like deathly grey in their ref so i did fresh them up a bit cuz i didnt want them to look fresh out of the grave

-it was hard figuring out good names for them since

1. There seemed to be a theme going on where names start with ‘B’ for the official bunnygirls names (Bookie, Buttercup, and Bonnie)

2. That theme didnt seem to coincide with Killer…

so! i decided their name restrictions had to either START with B or have a name relating to a bunny/rabbit (bc i rationalized killers name to be short for something like… killer bunny….??)

David Huddleston

Physique: Heavyset Height: 5'11" (1.80 m)

David William Huddleston (September 17, 1930 – August 2, 2016) was a portly, often bespectacled American actor. An Emmy Award nominee, Huddleston had a prolific television career, and appeared in many films, including Rio Lobo, Blazing Saddles, Crime Busters, Santa Claus: The Movie, and The Big Lebowski. Big-framed character actor (and sometime leading man) has worked in virtually every film and television genre there is, from Westerns to crime dramas to science fiction. He was twice married with one child.

The Vinton, VA native might be best known for his roles in Blazing Saddles, The Big Lebowski, The Producers, and of course Santa Claus: The Movie. But it's a lesser role in the movie Zero to Sixty is where I best remember him. He wasn't naked or even shirtless, nor was it about his performance. It was his clothing, a tight ass track suit that showed every bump and curve of his body. And what a body. I just wanted to cut a hole in it and fuck him with the track suit on.

On television, Huddleston first caught my attention guest starring on the TV series Our House with my gun down guy at the time. THE daddybear himself, Wilford Brimley. He had numerous guest roles on TV dramas, but Walker, Texas Ranger was where he dropped my jaw. He had added quite a few more pounds to that frame of his that would make a chubby chaser proud. Since then I'd always akin him to Charles Durning as both were hot chubby daddies that I lust after til this day.

Although Huddleston slowed his career later in life and he has lost alot of weight. But like 99.9% of the guys I like, I'd still would've done him. Huddleston died at the age of 85 from advanced heart and kidney disease in 2016. I'd like to also remember him as the 'King of Bulge' because of his many bulge shots his movie appearances to frequent TV guest work across multiple eras. And that's a lot of wank material. R.I.P. Mr. Huddleston.

Sonic Frontiers sold 3 million copies.

For comparison’s sake, Sonic 06 sold 800k, Sonic Unleashed sold under 2.5 million copies, Sonic Colors sold 2.1 million copies, and Sonic Generations sold 1.8 million copies. Sonic Lost World sold 700k and is one of the lowest selling main games in the Franchise and yet the Zeti are prominent in the comic. Sonic Forces sold a pitiful in its first week and we may never know exactly how much Sonic Forces actually sold(and it having 5 million plus on players on PSN+ is not any indication of a sale since it was free.) Yet somehow the comic takes place directly after Forces. Sonic Mania sold just over a million in case those hardcore Sonic classic fans want to open their mouths. While I’m at it, Sonic Adventure sold 1.3 million and SA2 sold 1.7 million. Sonic Rush sold 1.3 million and its sequel,which suffered after 06 tarnished Sonic’s reputation, sold 300k. The first Sonic game sold 15 million copies and before Retro fans start talking shit, note that is the only game in the franchise that sold that amount and it was in the golden age of gaming. You could sell a wet fart in an Nintendo cartridge and it would have made a million easy. Sonic 2? 6 million. Sonic 3? 1.03 million. Sonic and Knuckles? 1.3 million. Sonic CD? 1.5 million. Shadow the Hedgehog? 2 million. And Sonic Heroes and probably the biggest offender as to why Sonic Team stopped giving a shit about quality or effort and more about that Christmas grind? 3.41 million in 2 years.

Sonic Frontiers sold like gang busters in the couple of months it’s been out.

If you think Sage or any Frontiers elements won’t be referenced or be in the comic, you are bugging. Especially given that one of the main writers of the game writes for the comic. If that’s what is keeping you from saying IDW Sonic is on the same canon as the games and not what Iizuka says or what Flynn has stated several times, you are bugging. You are kidding yourselves if you think IDW can’t possibly put in those elements from the game in their comic.

If you don’t consider Tangle or Whisper to be game character in spite of them appearing in two mobile games that have been downloaded and played more than any Sonic game and have been created with the help of Sonic Team’s own character designer, fling yourself into the Nile River and cope and seethe. Tangle and Whisper have merchandise in the Sega Shop.

TailsTube shorts? Written by Flynn. That little Amy Rose Tarot Card set that is coming out soon? Written by Flynn with art created by one of the many IDW comic artists. This comic series has well over 50 issues including 4 different 4 part miniseries. It sold out in Japan! It’s consistently IDW’s top selling comic beating both the Transformers and Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles. It has sold over 10,000 copies an issue in a world where comics aren’t widely recognized unless it’s in the Marvel or DC. What they said in the beginning about it being diverged from canon no longer applies. Shit changed. It’s a new goddamn world. IDW Sonic is the only medium that actually uses your beloved obscure characters like Silver and Blaze. Like Cream. I don’t know what Flynn has done to make you turn up your nose at him but get over it. And the days of Sega pimping out Sonic to whatever Western media content creator and not caring what they churn out are over. The only exception to this is the movie verse(and because Iizuka has explicitly said it’s in a different canon)and honestly I have a tougher time trying to grasp how Sonic Prime is canon than I am with IDW. But regardless, it’s a new day. You are in a renaissance of Sonic and for once Sega gives enough of a shit about lore to want to make it all gel together and avoiding SATAM or Sonic Underground or Sonic the Comic or Archie Sonic the Hedgehog. Get the fuck over it.
