MY REVIEW

This book was a interesting read with it's twist on the female lead character. She has a memory loss issue that she forgets things that happen to her and causes her to not know what is going on with her. This happens when she meets the veteran hockey player Igor. In a spill that makes her forget how she met him, he uses this to his advantage to fill a nanny spot he is so desperate for.

This story was intriguing, but I had a hard time reading it with the broken English that the characters speak. Maybe this was intended by the author, maybe not. So I deducted my review down to 3.5 rating. Otherwise the book was excellent. It was a very emotional and interesting read. Joey struggles throughout, yet she is kind, strong, independent, caring and loving. Igor and Joey are a match made in heaven. Igor's daughter is the most adorable thing.

Overall the book has an excellent story, with real life situations that make the story relatable and entertaining. It has a wonderful character line up and is a fun and exciting read. I could see this as a Hallmark movie. I recommend the book for it's wonderful heartfelt story and loving characters.

Near-death experience in childhood: Wesley had a near-death experience in his childhood. At the age of six, he miraculously survived a fire that engulfed the Wesley family home. This event left a lasting impression on him and influenced his views on life and faith.

Influence of Moravian missionaries: During his voyage to America in 1735, Wesley encountered a group of Moravian missionaries. The Moravians, known for their piety and spiritual fervor, had a profound impact on Wesley. This encounter is often considered a pivotal moment that influenced his later theological developments and the emphasis on a personal, heartwarming faith.

Failed marriage proposal: Wesley proposed to a young woman named Sophy Hopkey in 1735 before his journey to America. However, she rejected his proposal. This event is said to have greatly affected Wesley emotionally. He later acknowledged that he had proposed to her out of a sense of duty rather than genuine affection.
