my dad is so shockingly unequipped to handle my emotions that it's comical. i was relieved because he's still doing grief counselling and i honestly was not expecting for him to keep up with it given how anti-therapy my family has been in the past and i've been struggling to continue with it myself. but i confided in him that i was feeling depressed and worried that things might get worse as the days get shorter / holidays get closer and he was like. 'is me throwing out your moms things making you upset perhaps?'

No #i don't even give a shit about any of that but now that u point it out i guess that's upsetting #but these past three months have been a long line of upsetting. so i have to use my energy sparingly #it has been fire and brimstone and trying to make sense of pain #trying to make sense of it has completely drained me though. as have a lot of other things. and now i feel like. well. even though i've com #to the conclusion that this isn't a punishment & pain & change are inevitable. it's still my cross alone to bear
