Y'ALL I'm havin a huge nerd moment because I found a video which I had assumed was lost to time

I dunno who decided to archive the page for the exact Youtube search query 'Sonic Heroes 2' back in 2019 but I CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH because not only did they preserve something that I considered important as a child but the archival of the page on the Wayback Machine allowed me to download that very video for safekeeping

#Grim rambles #GUYS I'M SHAKING SO MUCH RN /POS #anyways should I attach it? #would y'all be interested in seein it? #I was thinkin of puttin it on my own Youtube channel for archival purposes #or maybe even posting it here #but that video was so damn important to me as a kid #and it was literally fanmade team ideas for a potential Sonic Heroes 2 #Sonic Heroes was one of my biggest fixations as a kid to the point I made fanart #I even got my dad to draw characters from this video too because when I was a kid- #I liked to make colouring page collages of these characters in their teams but since some characters were that obscure- #there were no printable colouring pages of em pff #so I asked my dad to draw certain characters #I think I got him to draw Sally Acorn specifically lmao #there was even what I can only describe as an OC put in there? #I was super attached to em nd after some research the only thing I could find about Blangel (the character) was fanmade box art with em #They literally look like a fusion of Silver and Shadow with added details but I loved em #I was considering makin a character inspired by em since it seems they don't belong to anybody #if that's like... considered an okay thing to do

what to heck happened that a customer got that angry??? i've had ppl get angry but never call me names to my face the heck (i'm sorry that happened to you too btw. i work in high end retail and rn it's so fucking crazy this time of year i sympathize w/ you heavy)

Basically: I caught them stealing. 

So we have a new kid on the floor and he’s like BRAND new. First day was today, training on register all day. Anyway, I excuse him in the middle of a transaction to go to lunch and take over because it’s not a big deal. Our POS system is not difficult and logging in and out takes too long. Anyway, the lady starts complaining about the price she was like “$85 is too much for this, it doesn’t add up.” 

So naturally, I make sure this kid has scanned everything right by taking their stuff out of the bag. As soon as I start doing this, the lady gets pissy and starts going “nevermind, nevermind. I’ll just pay, whatever.” 

As I’m taking things out, there’s another shirt tucked INSIDE on of the shirts that’s folded. So I quietly take it out and lay it next to the 3 shirts they have and go “It looks like my coworker only rang you guys up for 3 of these items and missed this 4th one. Do you guys still want this? I can set it aside if you don’t.” 

She snaps at me with “What now you’re saying there’s 4 things? What the fuck just happened to all the stuff being rung up? Why the fuck did you take over-- you should have just let him finish this transaction.” 

So I just stare at her and she says “I just want to pay for my shirts.” 

So I scan it in and her total rings up to $109. She gets hella mad and like throws me the money and the guy she’s with starts muttering shit like “man, this is so fucking dumb, this place is fucking stupid, no one here knows what they’re doing” etc. 

And at that point she’s like “you have 5 employees standing around doing NOTHING why is the line not moving you guys should be helping” 

So my manager comes over at that point and says “we only have 2 registers and they’re both open right now, sorry for the wait.” 

And she like??? starts raising her voice? like “You guys have 5 fucking people standing around blah blah blah” 

So I’m counting her change and she like SNATCHES it from my hand and I start shaking nervously, trying to get their shit into a bag because theyre like yelling at me? like “just give us our fucking stuff” “just fucking give me my shit” and im taking too long to put it in the bag i guess because the guy goes “oh my god you fucking slut, just fucking bag it” then grabs it out of my hands and says “you dumbass bitch” and at that point my manager like shoves himself between me and them and goes “get out of my fucking store” 

so she starts SCREAMING. Like FUCKING SCREAMING. “YOURE GOING TO TELL ME THAT AFTER I SPENT OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS HERE? I OWN YOU. YOU MAKE MINIMUM WAGE. SHUT THE FUCK UP” 

Like my manager has literally not said a single thing but “Get out.” in a calm ass voice this entire time and this lady is shrieking in his face.

So the guy grabs a shoe box and CHUCKS it at us. They turn to go, knock over a bunch of shit on purpose and at this point our Store Manager gets in their face and tells them to get the fuck out of this store. 

He follows them to their car, recording them the entire way and apparently she smacked him lmao but honestly???? its my second to last day at zumiez so like.... why did this happen
