ATEEZ Wooyoung Enneagram

- E2, sx/so 2w3, 278 -

An in depth analysis of an idol's enneagram. Based on my opinion and observations. Not an expert. May change later.

Core (main type): 2

Triads: Heart/Image/Shame, Positivity, Compliant, Rejection

Basic motive: To be loved

Basic fear: Being unworthy of love

Wooyoung has always desired love and admiration from others. He has lots of love and care in his heart and not afraid to express his affections for others. 2s want love and want to give love, so many of them are drawn to people.

He highly values relationships, especially since he used to feel lonely when he was younger. Since then, he seems motivated to create connections with others - Wooyoung simply wants love and to give love, just like an ennea 2.

Wooyoung seems especially touched when fans tell him the deep impact his and the group's work have on them - how he and ATEEZ help change a fan's life for the better. A 2 wants to be able to help others, to make a positive impact on people and the world. Wooyoung has made it his goal to be the light in other's life. It is the reason why he chose a candle to represent himself in "Fill in the Blanks" episode. (If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. It is the best proof of his core 2)

Some things from the ep that stood out to me about his ennea 2 core:

Wings act as a complement to the core.

With a 3 wing, it adds a need for achievement and success. Wooyoung is definitely goal oriented, accomplishments make him feel worthy of love and praise. He wants to be the best at what he does, which is why he tries so hard to improve in his passions. It's why he tries so hard to improve in his performance and wanting to be the best at his cooking - he has a whole series dedicated to cooking where he pushes himself to learn different techniques for cooking and cutting. He also expanded his menu to be able to cook more different types of food.

As both 2 and 3 are from the same triad, Wooyoung is very image oriented. The best example is one of his recent lives where he was talking about "needing" to lose weight in order to better conform to the ideal idol image. Having a 3 wing gives him a bit of perfectionism, along with very high expectations. He wants to fulfill these expectations in order to gain the love he wants. Although Wooyoung is already quite amazing as is, being a 2w3 may make him feel he still has to look and be a certain way in order to be loved and successful. One of the major things an image/heart type struggles with is never feeling good enough.

Sx 2: Sx 2s want to get to know a person deeply, to know their life story and their soul. This seems to fit Wooyoung best since he said he wants to know the real version of people. He doesn't judge right away - he wants to genuinely take his time to truly understand someone. He wants to be wanted by others.

So 2: Being his 2nd dominant subtype, Wooyoung still values group connections. He's outgoing and friendly and puts effort into creating a nice environment. He wants to do things for others - has said he enjoys cooking and feeding others. Especially when they react positively, it gives him a sense of accomplishment and motivation to get better in order to keep people happy.

Tritype: 278

Tritype is formed up one's dominant type from each center of intelligence (heart, head, gut)

- Head center type: 7 -

Head center focuses on dealing with fear and anxiety.

I think Wooyoung deals with such issues in a 7 way - he's silly and goofy, obviously a fun and overall positive guy, as most 7s are. Even Hongjoong said Wooyoung is good at creating a comfortable atmosphere - they probably would not be as close if it weren't for Wooyoung's ability to make things fun. Whenever things were tense or awkward, Wooyoung would go out of his way to relieve such tension.

- Gut center type: 8 -

Gut center is about reaction, control, and anger.

8's are the most comfortable and open about their anger - they do not repress and are not ashamed. Wooyoung seems to have no difficulty in expressing his disappointments and anger with people. He's quite straightforward and blunt, a bit unfiltered at times. He's also fiercely protective over those he cares about, e.g saying he would bite whoever hurt Seonghwa when some "fans" were being rude to him. He also did a biting motion with his arms as a way to call out the person who had plagiarized their Say My Name dance move. An 8 would definitely be bold enough to do such a thing.

Before I begin this chapter I just want to let you all know that I do have autism, so I'm not writing San as having a neurological disorder when I do not have one myself,,, if those kind of things make you uncomfortable. I do struggle with autism and I think some of San's character will represent the struggles I have on a daily basis. I just thought I'd clarify that before I start talking about it.

It was almost midnight in Seoul and the soft, gentle music San usually danced to was still echoing through the halls of his home. His body moved fluently in time with the music and his features were calm and gorgeous. This was a very precious time of the night for him, and he would usually carries it out to forget about the day's struggles. The struggles of his lack of rights and his sorrows of loneliness.

"San-ah, I told you to turn that sappy shit off. Dance to something good or don't dance at all," a harsh voice came through the doorway of his room and he ignored the voice and the person who held it. "San," The voice repeated again. "San, stop dancing," he commanded. Finally, the harsh male steps further into the room and he grabs the smaller boy's arms in order to stop his dance. "You need to stop!" he called out and it caused the smaller boy to sniffle at him "Wh-Why are you yelling at me?" he whimpered.

The room stays quiet for a moment and the tall, harsh male lifts San's chin "I told you about doing ballet, San-ah, I told you that people would make fun of you for it," he spoke in a more quiet tone to appease the younger man and San nodded in understanding. "Then why do you still do it? You're a boy, not a girl," the man asked, almost in confusion. "I don't get why you're so aggressive about it, brother... It's something I enjoy doing, why do you hate me for what I like..?"

"No, San.... I don't hate you for doing ballet-" the other man tried but San shook his head "I don't want to hear your excuses, Cho.."

And once again, San pushed his brother out of his room, locked the door and broke down into tears. He turned his music off and laid on his bed, cuddling his stuffed animal closer to his chest. San was always made fun of in school for being a crybaby and being like a girl with the colours he chose to like and the things he chose to enjoy. It didn't help that he was autistic, too, which only caused the bullying to worsen. In adulthood, he moved in with his brother Cho to try and find more self confidence to do what he loved despite the ridiculing he received.

But Cho tried to do the same thing as everyone else. He only wanted to stop San from doing ballet and having stuffed toys, claiming that this was "protection" yet it never felt that way to San. It was far to harsh to be for his protection.

He didn't have any friends, mainly because of how "weird" he was and him being a hybrid, and spent most of his time dancing his feelings out in his bedroom. The only person he'd talk to on a daily basis was Cho. His days were unpleasant and his thoughts were only full of everything "wrong" with his personality. They called him too childish, too girly, too sensitive. And it just made him upset. The only other person he would talk to once every two weeks at least was Jung Wooyoung, a younger man in his dance class.

Wooyoung was kind yet sometimes he had the tendency to be a little too strong-willed at times. San liked him, but was too nervous to say anything to him. His phone made a noise and he turned over to look at the notification. How bizarre,, that was Wooyoung right now, texting him.

"Hey :)

I felt a little awkward talking to you at first but you seem cool and you're really pretty when you dance, let's hang out soon if you want?"

San's heart skipped a beat and his cat tail curled in excitement. He smiled for the first time that night. What a coincidence. Maybe he does have a chance at getting more friends after all!

From outside of the building he learned to dance in, a man in black stood near the entrance. He watched Wooyoung depart the building, phone in hand with a big smile. The man in black held the string firmly in his hand. The two were attached together by the red strings of fate. Perfect. Everything was running so smoothly.

hybe should do better in spreading out the comebacks of the groups under them :/ they're already at a huge advantage, might as well use it strategically. AHA streaming mvs is so convenient for a multi. the filler vids i could use in between could be mvs from the other groups that i stan. also you know what, i still haven't watched a single final performance bc im waiting for a friend to watch with me :D

i have a chinese movie recommendation in case you want something to cry over. i still love its ost and it's been months since i watched it. i'm not sure if you watched it already but more than blue. i've never cried over a movie as much as i cried for that one. the angst *chef's kiss*. i'd do anything to wipe my memory of it and watch it again for the first time.

also sungchan is mc-ing in inkigayo every sunday! and honestly, what the hell is nct hollywood :D but a part of me thinks it's just going to be a bunch of asians living in america like johnny that'll be a part of it. just a hunch tho. imagine having all 4 units coming back in a year with like 1 unit per quarter of the year. i'm not sure if sm even has the money to do this, especially when they filed bankruptcy recently.

and i've seen a lot of twitter memes saying taro's ghosted stans T_T alexa play ghosting by txt T_T sm come on give him smth to do, you're wasting talent.

the mall didn't burn down entirely (like from the outside it looked fine). the ventilation system caught fire so it was more internal—ceilings and all that. covered things with soot(?) and ashes so the entire mall was closed for nearly 2 years. and hey, i've experienced a school fire too back when i was younger. i, too, thought it was nothing but a fire drill until i saw the charred remains of the buildings behind our school : D thankfully, no one died.

the new nct track is for a samsung commercial AHAHA it's funny because nearly everyone uses apple TT_TT and the mv screams neo culture tech tho (well as it should lmao). yes, i was talking about that part in hot sauce but yes, it grew on me too.

ateez really know how to do a performance. they put the standard so high for me when it came to performing. their facial expressions and overall stage presence just impresses me. it's been a while since i've seen idols draw me to them by those standards.

ohhhh, what was the pd48 scandal? i don't watch survival shows so i don't know any of the stuff going on. would you care to elaborate? about their disbandment :(( i hope you're okay now tho! are the other girls still debuting in new groups? anyone eyeing an acting career instead of being an idol?

YES, A PATTERN IN THE BIASES (if you count an analysis of two ppl as a pattern, that is.) because it's the same pattern i have for my biaswreckers :D jake & seungmin, not only do they have the same animal to represent them, they have the same 'golden retriever' type of personality that just makes you go all soft. ygwim ;n; i wish i could elaborate but both boys just devastate me in the same level and my friends pointed out that they were quite similar in some aspects.

yes yes i have just realized that sungchan is yujin's co-mc! i watched their special stage (which is literally adorable) and was today years old when i realized that the dude is sungchan pls. nct hollywood was so unexpected and i still have mixed feelings about it now. ugh omg yeah shotaros talent is seriously being wasted in the basement right now. as for fires, scary T-T i wasnt that fazed by them until the australia wildfires happened, and i learned about the consequences of fire and got really scared. its good that the entire mall didnt burn down though! although its weird that no one is opening it :( schools really need to tell us the difference between drills though, it might be dangerous for those rebellious kids.

oh yeah im not an atiny but i have acknowledged since 2020 that they have one of the best, if not the best stage presence and expressions on stage for 4th gen. i think their only worthy competitor would be stray kids actually. theyre truly one of a kind and all of them are cute especially that yeosang guy. i will definitely check out your song recommendations though!

oof the pd48 scandal is extremely complicated. to condense it in a few statements: all of the girls' rankings have been rigged since the very beginning and it was rumored that they already had their end group before the show even started. it was like this for pf48 and pdx101 (group x1) which was why x1 disbanded within a month of debuting, and izone were on hiatus for like 4 months. im not the best at explaining stuff like this haha, but i think you get it. you can check out yt or search up 'pd48 scandal', a ton of articles and videos. as for new groups, nothing has been made clear yet. theyve only made instagram handles for now and appeared on variety shows haha. as for acting career, hyewon was supposed to do acting but was forced to join pd48 so maybe she'll continue acting afterwards? nothing is confirmed yet!
