Primo volo nello spazio aereo tedesco del German Heron TP Airbus Defence and Space ed Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) hanno annunciato congiuntamente che il German Heron TP (GHTP), prodotto dall’UAV PEO presso la Direzione della Difesa, Ricerca e Sviluppo dell’IMoD (Ministero della Difesa di Israele) e di IAI, ha volato oggi (15.05.2024) per la prima volta nello spazio aereo tedesco. Il sistema aereo a pilotaggio remoto (RPAS) è stato personalizzato per i requisiti specifici del Ministero della Difesa tedesco, come parte di una joint venture tra IAI, la Direzione per la ricerca e lo sviluppo della difesa (DDR&D) del Ministero della Difesa israeliano ed Airbus .
