🍉: Omura has a beskar pendant in the shape of a mythosaur skull that its mother, Usokya'Varhis Vane, placed in its carrier. For years it was used as a teething toy, then pounce practice, and now as a focusing element for prayer. There's a custom headpiece that @calamity-aims' Rishh made for Omura as well, adorned with crystals from Mandalore's underground cave systems, centered around the kyber crystals Omura found from the same systems - although this piece is typically saved for ceremonies or when it has to attend a formal High Council meeting later on in its 30s-40s.

🍍: Usually in a created nest, and surrounded by any number of loved ones. Mace Windu (dad <3), Kit Fisto (dad <3), Dara Idella (@spacerocksarethebestrocks, gender neutral mom and ultimate. yes <3), Agen Kolar (dad <3), Cin Drallig + Serra Keto + Bene McCallum (Kiwigiiii), baby sister Losnook, Bastra (you! Leo!!), Altair (@dilf-archivist the one i would actually heave oceans for), its partners in crime Zeyil and Tan, literally any of its partners - Latil (@penguinkiwi the most beloved), Anakin (mine <3), Sirajaat Tott, Jess (@chiafett my adored), Chomp (@keys-to-the-stars the realest) Kimni Tadodena (shared w/ Leo), Zarthi.. any of its plethora of children both adopted and born, Rishh (Cal's!) just for the fact that she is such a beloved friend... even if you're just in proximity and it's time for Omura to flop.

🍑: That's a hilarious question, since its partners are all have a very wide array of personalities - the polycule web stretches far and wide, with love for every single one of them. Omura couldn't even begin to tell you its real type besides "you are good to me, you love me, you are genuine, and I will put the same love in with you", to sum it up into words? Omura fell in love with Anakin the same as it fell in love with Latil, and the same as it fell in love with Kimni and Sirajaat and Chomp and Zarthi and Jess. All of them bring different things to the table. // Anakin is like, this certain sense of intimacy and trust. // Latil is like the calm and the quiet that settles right after the sun sets and the moon rises. // Kimni is like a rush of overwhelming devotion, but not in the intoxicating sense - more like waking up for the first time to something you adore. // Sirajaat was the first time Omura learned to open its eyes and see beyond what it knew, see beyond fear of the unknown when it came to knowing someone else. But also finding something that was much closer to home and comfort than it even realized. // Zarthi was the love of taking it slow, taking someone in and finding something natural. // Jess was the first time Omura was able to reach out to a Force sect outside of its heritage (Jedi, Mandalorian, Togrutan) and learn more, while connecting with someone in the process. // Chomp was the most happenstance thing to ever happen and it blossomed into a love so fucking true that Omura was genuinely surprised that it was mutual, and wasted no time in ensuring that it felt the exact same. If there is love, and the love is real and mutual and trustworthy, then Omura will nurture it.

🍆: Omura is a very physically affectionate person, and honestly always has been. It's preferred to show its love and care by pressing close to others (if wanted) and purring to comfort them, gently "grooming" them or asking if they want to talk about what happened to upset them. Or just being a quiet pillar to lean on for a moment. Omura likes to bite and kiss and hug and hold (and lick, depending on who you are) when playful. Very much just!! Being present, reminding the other that it's there with them, rubbing cheeks or chinning against them, man I just think Omura really really likes holding people. A good small-space heater for the chilly, a good bed for littles to lay on, MAN!!!

🍰: Betrayal and/or being lied to. Cough cough. O66 AU. Omura was willing to kill all those it loved just to keep Anakin closeby, following him into Darkness and becoming his Grand Inquisitor, just for it to find out that Anakin lied. And boy did Omura fucking LOSE IT. Imagine that the Living Force, corrupted and twisted into a walking amalgamation of death and decay that siphons off life just by walking past someone .. who has taken great care to not physically touch you because it knows it will kill you .. has suddenly turned its cosmic eye to you and is in the process of tearing a wall of solid durasteel apart out of sheer incomprehensible rage. Because you lied. And you killed its loved ones.

so I saw a recent post about CodyWan and, should you feel comfortable enough about this ask, I'd like to ask you about these two ships- Jocasta and Dooku (romantic,) and Plo Koon and Kit Fisto (platonic)

I actually dont like Jocasta and Dooku together at all. Vibes are off, I don't care. I just don't like it. Friends, sure, but not as a ship. I'm also not a fan of Sifo Dyas and Dooku as a ship either, not my thing since I don't really care all that much about Sifo (lol).

Plo Koon and Kit are fine as friends, they're fine as lovers, they're fine as amicably divorced exes, co-parents, married for tax reasons, asexual life partners— whatever. I don't care if they're romantically or platonically involved, I personally do ship them, quite a lot actually so it's very rare for me to pick up fics with other ships as I do not ship Kit with anyone else outside of Plo and maybe Micah Giiett in terms of canon characters, OCs depend. Similarly with Plo Koon though I have a bit more open-mindedness due to Plo being (checks notes) old, so he has more/better options I think he can mesh with better.

(Ie: Shaak Ti, Cin Drallig, Saesee Tiin, Dexter Jettster)

In general idc what others ship as long as they respect what I ship, but if you’re poking and looking for hints to what could be seen on this blog, there’s your answer

I have some advice to writers in fandom: if you start to feel like fandom is making you dislike your own writing, get the hell out. Do not wait, do not pull halfway out, fucking go. Fandoms are vicious and there are people out there who make themselves feel better by tearing others down. Waiting for likes teaches you to externalize your sense of self-worth. Reblogs and follower counts become unspoken competitions.

Leave with your sense of self-worth intact. Loving your writing is worth more than anything you could possibly get out of fandom, I promise you.

and i am a bit stupid. this is a continuation of this oc introduction post, tagged by the beloved @queen-breha-organa

i'll put most of it under the cut because hello. lots of pictures about to come in but i wanna cry about omura some more.

so for starters, i kinda forgot to mention that yes! omura is a togruta. a very funky one. imagine getting a power surge so strong during your knighting ceremony that your actual physical self is transformed.. because your earliest ancestor wants to apologize for possessing you and using your agency.

omura really is just. so very dear to me HELP

first off, we have a math class doodle i did of a young omura (about 13) confused as to wtf is going on. omura's markings and color completely changed after its knighting at age 17!

here we have @penguinkiwi ripping out my heart and soul with a piece done for the aftermath of kiwikipedia knightfall. ow. (it can also be found here on her page!!)

we have @arcjesse's works for councilor and healing master omura, because it can and will whack every problem to solve it!

Alright, let’s do this over again. My name is Satori Luong, and for the past six years, I’ve apparently been my Earth’s one and only Spider Hunter.

Look idk what anyone expected but a spider-sona / spider OC was bound to happen. Will a full sheet be put out eventually? maybe. God knows. I don't. more details and taglist below the cut

I think it's funny that no matter what it seems that nearly every Spider instantly jumps on the "lets go spandex suit and be a hero" and most are all some sort of genius in terms of science since they create their own web-launchers and suits for the most part (hell, Migs is out here creating safe interdimensional travel).

But what if there was a spider who just? didn't.

What if there was a Spider who didn't realize they were "Spider-Man" and who chose to simply adapt and adjust and not be a hero in the traditional sense— and partially because they didn't have the whole spider pack.

This is Satori Luong aka “Kumo” or “Spider Hunter” the Spider of Earth 1425639, an Earth that they state is “Half organized crime half unorganized crime” where they’re more of a vigilante rather than a hero. They’re half Japanese and half Vietnamese-American, and as of ATSV, they still attend a local college to finish out their degree while keeping the streets clear of troublemakers in their own way.

In comparison to the others, they often refer to themselves as the "Rather Average Intelligence Spiderperson” as opposed to the various “amazing” Spidermen. They state that it's not derogatory in their opinion, considering that, unlike all the other Spidermen, it seems as if they could not produce webbing organically or create any tech to enhance their powers. They consider themselves rather unremarkable in that case, as they cannot stick to walls either, leaving them with improved physicality. However, like Miguel O’Hera, their teeth seem to have retractable fangs, and their "Spider-Sense" seems to be very different. Instead of the almost precognition that many Spiders have, Satori is hyper-observant of their surroundings.

This matches well with their primary fighting style.

Where Satori lacks the mechanical and scientific genius that the other Spiders seem to possess and because of their Spider-Sense developing in a way that they are incredibly observant and aware of everything around them, it is safe to say that Satori is more or less a combinational protégé, able to mimic combat forms within a few hours to days of close observation.

This, in combination with their in-depth knowledge of spiders, makes them a formidable enemy and powerful ally, due to the fact that no matter how they fight, they will always fall back to actual combat and hunting techniques of actual spiders.

Satori carries around a number of weapons, primarily knives. While these knives change out regularly, they always keep the blade on their leg. Nicknamed “Kumokiba” this knife is their substitute solution for webbing. While they didn’t create it, instead it was given to them as a gift from an underground Arms Dealer who they accidentally saved, Kumokiba is a unique blade. The blade can be shot much like a grappling hook and imbed into a wall, though Satori doesn’t use it for climbing often, as they say they can scale most buildings on foot anyways.

Instead, they use Kumokiba as an extension of themselves. Much like spiders, Satori uses the wire that their blade has in order to sense the world around them along with setting traps and attacking. Later on, Satori was able to obtain wires of a similar make to the one that Kumokiba had and thus has been using wires and their blades in order to keep the streets of their city clear of trouble.

Aside from Kumokiba, their other knives are varied in size and purpose, though they state jokingly that they’re just like fangs.

Satori also apparently struggles with newer technology, not understanding the holographic and nano tech that is used often among the Spiders. This is often the leading cause for a number of frustrating moments between them and other Spiders in Miguel’s group. More often than not, when all the spiders are assembled, another has to go and get them due to them being unable to figure out how the gateways work. Similarly, when working with other Spiders, they rely on them for aid when it comes to traversing a location via web slinging or upwards mobility on sheer surfaces they are unable to free run on.

That said, Satori is extremely fast and nimble due to the fact that they have been only able to pursue enemies on foot most of the time and are extremely proficient in parkour as well, having been known as a local parkour runner before even getting bit at the beginning of their High School years.

They are the only spider without an actual "spider suit", though their jacket has a symbol emblazoned on the back.

“You two better not be breakin’ my shit in there, Enbo!"

“Dex is an old god," Sylv scoffed, holstering her blaster as she glanced at Nomi. "He can take care of himself. He knew the risks of staying.”

“You should get out soon, though, I have a feeling it's only going to get worse. We still don't know why the Clones flipped their lids and why the Senate declared the Jedi traitors.”

“How is it that we always end up in this predicament?” she complained, shaking her head a bit as they ran.

“If you forgot, you fucking dumbass, toxins have no effect on me,” she said simply with a roll of her eyes. “And that includes Dioxis."

“He’s dropped by the Clover before. Saccha doesn’t like him, neither does Ajina. I don’t think Charlotte does either, but that’s besides the point,” she hummed, pulling the silver lighter out from her coat pocket. “The point is he’s acting different than he usually would. Keep an eye out.”

“Betcha Eval gets off to watching shit like this then!” she hummed as she moved out of the way of another deadly spike.

“Let’s get out of here, Embabe,” she hummed, making him chuckle a bit. “What? I don’t want to end up like Onca and Kiara, the boss wives wouldn’t like that very much and I have things to do back at my place!”

“You’re just acting weird is all,” she hummed, brushing a bit of dust off of her coat. “Hey, Embo. Welcome to the party.”

“But it’s only a fifty-fifty shot,” Sylv chimed in, “Let’s hope your gamble is correct, if not we’re throwing you through and hoping your body hits the switch instead.”

“I’m a bartender, I help people. I have things to do and would like to be out of here quickly. This entire thing is a waste of time.”

“As soon as his precious emperor is gone, Vader’s like a rabid dog without a leash."

"White Clover is open to anyone, Republic or Separatist, Senator or Clone. “Standing around, König?” Emilia asked, tone flat and as dry as the desert they were in.

Emilia looked back at the door, before shrugging. "Door's broken. Truck's broken. We're working on it."

"I used a dose of horse tranq because thats what it takes to get Grinch down. Don't tell Sandman."

"Look, I'm not even 141, I got my boys to take care of and some British SAS to hunt down, here's more tranq syringes, and now I'm leaving forever," Sturgeon huffed, handing Roach a case that was likely full of the said tranquilizers.

"Alright, I'm done here. Someone tell Nocte not to look for me if he needs something," Emilia said, handing her pack over to Seowoo "I'm walking into the woods and if I'm not back before nightfall, I have fallen into a quagmire and died. Goodbye."

"The 141 went where? Jesus, why am I not surprised that Price ended up in a Gulag... not our problem, though, Overlord just sent over new orders for us."

"I never pinned you for a coward, and yet here you are, crawling back to the people who thought you were dead because you ran away."

The first perception anyone has of Emilia is "damn what a hardass" which evolves into the idea that she's your typical, no-nonsense, chronically tired field medic type. Which is fair, but only when she's doing business. Outside of medical work, she's a deadpan snarker and someone who plays a straight man to her more eccentric colleagues.

On a professional level, her highest priority is to make sure that as many people as possible make it back off the field in one piece and alive. On a personal level, her top priority is fixing her and Overlord's garage door and wrangling her cat Luna into the house at night

Not really unusual or irrational, but she fucking hates clowns. Like so much. She can watch almost any horror movie under the sun without flinching but the moment someone suggests fucking IT? She's out. That's a clown and she is nOT doing that.

Not exactly, though she has been seen with a few different types of hair clips to keep her bangs out of the way, so that I guess

Depends on the day and also the person when it doesn't have to do with business. Cant be against physical touch when she's on the field and Sandman grabs her by the waist and hauls her over his shoulder or when she's working on saving someone's life. Otherwise, Overlord is the only person who gets a pass any day any time because of long-time friendship, but also he can usually sense when its a bad touch day.

Arvid dating sim SOON /j (unless…?)

He is most definitely one of those late stage, “have to complete one of the main routes first and play his route on the second go through” type of routes, a patch because he was an NPC that people ended up liking a lot.

He’s definitely tricky though, you can only meet with him twice a week at specific times depending on the day, but most of the dialogue choices are pretty easy to get through. The main spots you can find him are really only Dex’s Diner or at the markets getting scrap wood for his work.

On the Festival Day Event ™ you can also find him with all the other Jedi Routes at the Temple’s little market set up running a stand.

Giving gifts/affection items fall as such:

Can I know more about Arvid? I saw him mentioned in @kit-fisto-obsessive ‘s fic and you talk about him some on here but I haven’t seen much of him on your own AO3

I have a couple posts on Arvid here but I don't think I've really put much on AO3 at all of him. I think he only appears in passing mentions such as in dual wield where he's mentioned by Cin.

I did an introduction post here with his old design and a new design and some alters here but I can go over it again ehehe

Basically:

Arvid Carin is best mates with Jaro Tapal and the partner of Dex Jettster. He's also an Artisan Jedi Master as the current head of the Woodworking Department of the Division and has trained one padawan, the current Second Hand of the Department— Turu.

He's from another one of my fan-made races, a dragon species that has branching roots in the Fae and Spirits. While there are a few of them across the Galaxy, but he's specifically an Inferno Drakon hailing from the volcanic planet Surlogi.

Like all Inferno Drakon who have chosen to assume a more humanoid appearance and leave Surlogi, Arvid has a number of forms that he can assume.

His true form is a massive, wingless dragon with the full length being about half as long as the temple is wide.

His main form is about 6'9" standing upright without his horns, though he slouches a lot. This is what most people see him as, and while his legs are still humanoid, his feet are definitely still that same clawed dragon look.

His combat form is a bit more draconic, his legs change to be more dragon-like and his hands become more clawed with more scales appearing under and through his skin. he's about 7'10 at that height when fully upright

His "compact" form or resting form is either after a fight or when conditions are met that require him to condense into an almost fully human form just to keep from exploding outwards into his true form. He's about 5'10 - 6' tall in that form but is much hotter to the touch than the other two humanoid forms. Almost scalding.

Save for the last one, Arvid retains his horns and tail in his human forms and has a very high body temperature

Personality wise he's known as a quiet, tired, and reserved individual to pretty much everyone and while true, he is also incredibly kind and compassionate.

His tiredness stems from his inability to find a good way to sleep with horns and a tail along with having just a general insomnia. He spends his waking hours working and often avoids people if possible while he does so he doesn’t lose focus. He enjoys listening to people talk though, so if he’s sought out while working for conversation it’s very one sided but he’s paying attention

While he enjoys children and doesn't mind them clinging to him for warmth, he states he'd be a very bad Master now days, to which Turu assures him that he was a fine Master when They were learning under him. Arvid also states he'd be a bad parent, though it is noted that he makes a decent father figure to Dex's adoptive daughter Onyx.

ofc despite all of this, Arvid is still a dragon and he does have a rather dangerous temper when it gets to that point. Basically:

Arvid Cairn was slow to anger, just like the magma flows his kind were borne from. Slow to anger, yet extremely dangerous when he did.

A forgotten fact to some.

The cracking of bones under his grip was something that wasn’t quite foreign to him— but it had been a long time. Been a long time since he had felt this angry.

I have some other little bits of triva, but these are the big parts.
