Yeah, he wasn't ugly, though he had a cocky attitude that bothered the hell out of her. "DON'T TELL YOU FIND THOSE OTHER LOSERS MORE BETTER LOOKING THAN ME!"  

"I have the most electrifying, rocking body out of everyone! I literally shock everyone, and they won't be able to move because of that." His personality was horrible. A boring individual that won't get anyone's attention, not even the stupidest of girls. "Even though we're comrades, I'm not going to be nice to you, if you insult my looks."

The insult bit slightly but his expression didn’t change. "…Hours? My apologies, I thought you had been dragged through a hedge." His tone was calm, emotionless, biting as he goaded her. Casually forgetting that he was at a serious disadvantage. 

He didn’t really see why she was making a big deal out of it, sure she wasn’t ugly but he didn’t consider her anything special. He had a sneaking suspicion that he spent more time on his hair than she did, not that he intended on ever owning up to that.
