Class: Rogue, Archer Specialization: Artificer Mages or templars: Templars originally, mages by the end. Reaction to being named the inquisitor: Me? You’re putting an elf in charge? I have no idea what I’m doing this is a BAD idea.

Romantic Interest: Dorian Kids: None Best Friends: Cass and Sera Biggest Rival Companion: Dorian initially but that clearly doesn’t last. Doesn’t particularly get along with Cole or Iron Bull very well.

After Trespasser: Taevin became a Pavus within a year of defeating Corypheus. It was the first time he’s ever had a last name and he spent quite a few months introducing himself and really putting emphasis on the “PAVUS.” When the Inquisition transitioned into a peacekeeping role, Taevin worked closely with the Devine, Red Jenneys, and some new friends to find a way to rescue Solas from himself. He could be found talking to his husband via crystal every evening, and more often when one of them had a difficult decision to mull over. They were both certain of one thing - the fight had just begun.

5 random tidbits: - Taevin was a house slave for a Tevinter Magister who was killed at the conclave. He was rather frightened of magic due to this upbringing, and was conditioned to agree to whatever he superior wanted of him (often being used for blood magic himself). These factors led to his decision to side with the Templars (both Cullen and Cassandra felt like superiors to him at the time). He later formed bonds with mages that showed him that not all mages were like the magisters he’d been surrounded by his whole life. - His own mother (the only family he knew) was sacrificed in a blood magic ritual when he was a child, and he kept mostly to himself after that until joining the Inquisition. Solas turned into a father figure for him rather quickly, and soon to follow Vivienne become a kind of mother to him. The two could often be heard bickering over the other’s lessons like a divorced couple would over a shared child. - Taevin and Cassandra’s relationship was complicated. After the explosion Tae was under the impression that Cass was his new master, an idea that resulted in an utterly disgusted Cassandra when she realized why he held her on a pedestal. After clearing the air, Cass was the one who taught him to fight and encourage his own decision making. They became a rather unexpected pair and were fairly inseparable, there were many rumors spread about a romantic relationship, but despite the clear attraction between the two they knew it would never go anywhere. No sense in ruining a friendship over it. - Taevin and Dorian significantly butted heads for the first few months of knowing each other. They clearly butted heads over their views of their homeland, Taevin already not trusting the Altus and Dorian rather disgusted by Taevin’s choice to recruit the templars. Dorian only dropped his anger after his assumption that neither of them knew what it was like to be a slave was met with a quiet “I do, actually.” Taevin only opened up to Dorian after meeting his father. The two learned a lot from each other after that, Taevin taught Dorian to cook and Dorian taught Taevin how to read. Together, they both found the understanding that they were more than their pasts and upbringings. - The only person Taevin trusted instantly was Sera, and you best believe he joined in on her pranks. He was exactly the kind of little person she fought for, and her passion helped him find courage he didn’t know he had.
