Stumbled upon this Hungarian news article from last week that talks about Gene Haas' opinion about Mick's results and .. I'm kind of lost for words 😐

Some excerpts:

Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek is to play a villain in the 25th official James Bond film, it was confirmed at the movie’s launch event in Jamaica.

Malek won the Academy Award for best actor in February for playing singer Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge is among the new film’s writers. But the title of the movie, which will be released next April, wasn’t revealed.

It will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as 007.

Malek wasn’t at the official launch but sent a video message. “I’m stuck here in New York in production but I’m very much looking forward to joining the whole cast and crew,” he said.

“I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride in this, his 25th outing. See you all soon.”

After watching that, Craig joked that he was “scared” about what lay in store for Ian Fleming’s suave secret agent.

It was also confirmed that Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw will return as M and Q respectively, with Naomie Harris coming back as Moneypenny. Lea Seydoux is reprising her Madeleine Swann character from 2015’s Spectre.

‘No title, unfortunately’

As well as Malek, new cast members will include Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch and Game Night actor Billy Magnussen.

They will be joined by fellow Bond newcomers Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah and David Dencik.

Asked about the plot, producer Barbara Broccoli said: “Bond is not on active service when we start the film. He is actually enjoying himself in Jamaica.

“He starts his journey here. We’ve built an extraordinary house for him… We’ve got quite a ride in store for Mr Bond – and no title, unfortunately.”

Waller-Bridge, who was also behind the first series of Killing Eve, is just the second female writer in Bond history – after Johanna Harwood, who worked on Dr No and From Russia With Love.

The other co-writers on Bond 25 are seasoned Bond scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade along with Scott Z Burns, whose credits include 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum.

Mentre proseguono, tra incidenti e infortuni sul set, le riprese di Bond 25, online sembrano essere trapelati nuovi dettagli sulla trama ancora avvolta nel mistero e in particolare sulla missione e le motivazioni del villain principale del film, che come sappiamo sarà interpretato dal fresco vincitore dell’oscar Rami Malek.

A quanto pare infatti la sceneggiatura, recentemente “rivista” da Phoebe Waller-Bridge (che la produzione ha chiamato in extremis per dare una svolta ai personaggi femminili del prossimo capitolo), ruoterà intorno ad una guerra genetica. Questo perché Malek, che raggiungerà a breve la produzione, è stato visto confrontarsi con esperti in materia per prepararsi al ruolo, e secondo il Daily Mail il contributo della Waller-Bridge è stato cruciale per rendere più comprensibile l’intricata sinossi.

Dunque l’ipotesi più plausibile è che l’antagonista di James Bond stia tessendo le fila di un conflitto a livello genetico, e che sarà l’agente 007 ad intervenire per evitare una catastrofe di proporzioni mondiali.

Vi ricordiamo che insieme a Craig e Malek figureranno anche Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Eve Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q), Lea Seydoux (Dr. Madeleine Swann), Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner) e Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter). Bond 25: esplosioni e infortuni sul set del nuovo film

Bond 25 sarà diretto da Cary Fukunaga (il primo regista non britannico che siede dietro la macchina da presa di un film di 007), mentre la sceneggiatura è stata riscritta da Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum, Contagion).

Come annunciato lo scorso aprile, la MGM ha assunto Phoebe Waller-Bridge per “ravvivare” lo script di Bond 25 sotto speciale richiesta di Daniel Craig, grande fan di Fleabag e Killing Eve, le due serie prodotte e scritte dall’attrice. Era dal 1963 (l’ultima fu Johanna Hardwood con Dr. No e From Russia With Love) che la casa di produzione non assumeva una donna per dare voce ai personaggi del franchise, una scelta oggi più che mai “rilevante”.

Una parte importante delle riprese si terrà nella città di Matera, capitale europea della cultura per 2019, fornendo l’ambientazione perfetta per quella che dovrebbe diventare la sequenza d’azione del prologo, simile al segmento di apertura di Spectre a Città del Messico durante le celebrazioni del Giorno dei Morti.

Gli ultimi due film di James Bond sono stati diretti da Sam Mendes che ha incassato con i suoi film rispettivamente 1,1 miliardo di dollari per Skyfall (il Bond di maggior successo di sempre, con un Oscar all’attivo) e 880 milioni con Spectre. Dato il successo che Mendes ha raggiunto con i film, quando ha annunciato che non avrebbe più diretto un Bond Movie, la EON e la MGM si sono date da fare per cercare un rimpiazzo all’altezza.

Started writing on the oft-delayed sequel to The Carmichael Addendum and came across a part that I’d forgotten about but damn if it didn’t give me one of those uncomfortable itches that require batteries to scratch.

The Strada make an appearance in this book.  Just jumped right out of their own (since I’m obviously neglecting them over there) and stomped into Aiden and Clarissa’s story.  It’s a passing reference, but it’s enough.  Heh.  Poor Kaine, I wonder which one of them did it...I’d like to think it was Malakeene, but good money says it was most likely Baltho  :P

I don’t remember swinging at him, but I do remember him blocking the punch with an elbow that damn near took my head off.  I doubt he remembers the roundhouse kick that cracked his two lower left ribs two seconds later, though. And while we’re compiling a list of the things we do and don’t remember, I’d be remiss if I left off the moment approximately eleven seconds later when a parried forearm to the side of the head ended with me being slammed against the wall with his body blocking the return attack I had queued up next.  Those crazy bright unnatural eyes were burning into my face with all the rage and fury of a man who wanted so damn bad to be able to give himself permission to kill, but couldn’t.

Couldn’t, because I was Clarissa Carmichael and he was Aiden Magnussen, and we were on the same team, for what it was worth.

The Magnussen Ultimatum is coming along about as chaotically as I expected it would :D

Scene notes under the cut featuring Aiden, Kaine, Clarissa, and a very cranky Harpy (oh and a confused Ramba that just wants to skewer someone and doesn’t care who atm)

Fitz might even make an appearance - heh, yeah he does

Aiden and Kaine have both just been yanked off a building by a Harpy and as they’re dangling haphazardly forty floors above the concrete being slammed into the side of a building by this thing Aiden is screaming JESUS CHRIST!!!! and Kaine is yelling down at him STOP SAYING HIS NAME HE WAS JUST A GUY and Clarissa is sitting on the ledge of a building across the street watching the fiasco and yells back AND YOU KNEW HIM DIDN’T YOU?!!

Kaine is just trying to stay alive and screams back THIS IS NOT THE TIME CLARY!!!

Meanwhile they’re hanging upside down and Aiden is trying to shoot the Harpy with his crossbow and Kaine is being ripped in half by Aiden’s weight hanging twenty feet below him and the Harpy slamming them around and Aiden tosses a grenade up to him

Clarissa is sitting there swinging her feet off the edge of the building grilling Kaine about how many of the Discliples he knew personally

Aiden is firing everything he’s got at the Harpy and barely missing Kaine with each shot (probably on purpose)

Out comes the Ramba

This time it’s Kaine screaming JESUS CHRIST!!!!

Clarissa chirps WAS THE WINE TRICK FOR REAL??

SHUT UP CLARY YOU COULD BE HELPING HERE

Aiden is aiming the Ramba from upside down and Kaine is remembering all the times he personally used that thing drunk and accidentally set it to imprint on himself

The gigantic male glanced across at me and tilted his head.  I knew him, or knew of him to be more painfully precise, but Kaine knew him far better and the nasty history between the pair of them was absolutely something I wanted to see acknowledged before sides were chosen.  The Strada were infamous for making their minds up at the last second and allegiances meant jack shit to them.

This was a famous one.

“Baltho.”
