Someone commented on one of my "make all the characters as aroace as possible" fics and suggested I watch Legends of Tomorrow for aspec rep. No offense, but. Um. Not the greatest suggestion.

#EVERY single character that i related to as an aro AND as an ace person got amatnormativity thrust on them in one way or the other #EVERY! LAST! ONE! #which was so horrifically invalidating. Shame on legends of tomorrow for that. #The ONLY aspec character in that series does not appear until season 6 btw #And she isn't revealed as aspec until the very end of season 7 (and the show got canceled right after the reveal) #AND her aspec revelation was. Ah. Controversial at best. #Especially because she showed very little to no signs of being aspec outside of #''This character hasn't yet had a love arc... let's make them ace!'' #Like there were so many characters that had TEXTBOOK aspec signs and yet!!!
