Good question! I really like the NB Avery headcanon a lot actually! Though I haven’t thought of too many headcanons because I’m trying to learn all I can about the NB spectrum before I dive deep into writing NB characters (；ω；)

Though I can see Avery using he/they and staying away from heavily masculine nouns. Gentleman is as far as he would go but I can def see him not wanting to be called dude or bro. I can see him going by partner instead of husband. I don’t want to speak for others who have experienced this but perhaps he’s one of the only enby’s in his family and keeps that away from them. I bet he shed tears when he told Ms.Honey and Mustard because they were so accepting. I can see the two having talks with students who may have said smth insulting cause Avery is their pseudo child.

Ms.Honey’s son is p educated and would educate his family and others when Avery is out and about. He’s truly grateful to have them.
