With the TOMSTAR sons not having monster features like their (usual) sisters, i assume it’s more so a bit odd that one child has all the monster features and one doesn’t. In reality that works (where siblings can look completely different) but wouldn’t in a cartoon they’d at least share maybe a hair colour or horns?

Well once again, i did provide examples of artists who have indeed put out tomstar sons with monster features, and i believe all of them have siblings too as well.

Though what an artist chooses to do with their designs is kinda up to them.

It’s not like talking about the logic of an au with the canon world, it’s just character design and how the artist feels fit to design their characters.

Tom and Meteora as characters are half monster, and yet they have quite a few traits neither of their parents have, they look liike them, and are unique in their own respect. An artist can mess with their kid’s design a good bit to make it work with some limitations (Because if you’re too far-fetched in your designs, it’ll look less like a fanbaby and no one who ever know who it’s supposed to belong to unless it’s supposed to be adopted.)

I thought after all this time I'd redesign my Tomstar baby ~

I feel as though she'd be a total sweetheart, pretty much the opposite to her parents. But, if someone tries to mock her in any way, she wouldn't hesitate to give them a good punch in the face.
