Oregon Trail TS3 Sim Narrowdown

Since these are mostly townie folks, you get pictures and facts where they can be found.

Torgo Facts: His surname could be a reference to the Pendragon Gate door in the original The Sims game. His first name is also a reference to the film "Manos: The Hands of Fate" which was famously featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Pendragon's role as a pizza delivery man is also a nod to MST3K, where Torgo delivers a pizza to the Mads at the end of the episode.

Vincent Facts: He shares his name with a character from MySims. It is possible they are the same man, as they look alike. In MySims, he acts mean and serious, and yet his favorite color is hot pink. This is probably an Easter egg made by developers. There is a possibility that he is related to the deceased Victoria Skullfinder from Barnacle Bay, since they share their surname, initials and taste for Key Lime Pie. Strangely, Vincent has only one trait, which is Artistic, similar to Kitty Landgraab and Jennie Clavell. Vincent is mentioned in The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure; when a Sim reaches Level 9 in archaeology, a message will appear saying that Vincent Skullfinder (referred to as "Sir Vincent") is sending them packages and asks for their help identifying artifacts.

"Christopher Steel is lucky by nature. Things have always come easily for him, which is starting to get boring. Now that he's in a brand new town with no friends or job, how will he fare?"

Narcissa Facts: If story progression is left on, she will often move in to vacant lot with a fellow townie Dorothy DeMayo and she will sometimes have a same-sex relationship with her.

I spent the rest of the morning taking care of Brian before the doorbell finally rang. When I answered the door, I was a bit shocked to see an elderly man standing before me. He introduced himself as Torgo Pendragon – the man I had been talking to that morning, but he looked nothing like the picture that he had sent me only a few hours earlier. Torgo explained that the picture had been taken several years prior.

The guy aged up in the time he took him to get to the house but I went with it.

Sims No Filter Challenge

Rules: Take a picture of the sim that’s normally associated with your blog (your legacy founder/lead character in your story etc.), now take away all their cc (except their hair, eyebrows, and skin color), then do a before and after picture.

I was tagged by @greenplumbboblover (I must already stalk her too much to appear in her feed like that ;p)! So I thought I would do it, because why not?

I’m not super established so needless to say, I don’t have a particular sim that could really act as a mascot, and I wasn’t sure who to pick. And then I thought, I’d just do this with the sim in my avatar, Torgo, as he is one of the sims I like to play in different saves. :)

Funny thing, I made him after I made over Torgo Pendragon, the pizza delivery man in Sunset Valley. Hence the name. Now, he doesn’t really have anything in common with his base sim, but he retained some of the coloring and of course his appreciation for pizza!

Generation 1 of the Piccolo Lepacy is complete!

I had a lot of fun in the beginning of this legacy, playing Poppy as a young-adult causing chaos around town was super fun & the challenge objectives were very enjoyable to complete - but as the challenge went on I started to get suuuper bored of the basegame, I think part of the problem is that my lifespan is so long and is normally structured by seasons, but since there are no seasons installed yet, each age stage felt never-ending!

It made me think that I might play around with the expansion packs in a different order than their release schedule... I just don't think I can wait so long to install seasons because it's so essential to the way I play - but that's TBD later (World Adventures is definitely next up!)

Anyway, I'll stop rambling, time to look at the scoreboard!

Things were going so smoothly with Brian that I decided it was time to find the next father for my challenge. I didn't want to leave Brian in the house alone so I got on my laptop and began searching. Upon entering a chat room for Sunset Valley Singles, I got to talking with a very sweet man by the name of Torgo Pendragon. He even showed me a picture of himself.

He had blonde hair and great bone structure. Although it was a little less exotic compared to Brian‘s father, he still looked like he had good genetics.
