U'reksh pointed up at a random spot in the night sky. "Is...that one?"

Alisaie looked over and shook her head. "No." U'reksh pointed somewhere to the left.

"What about that?"

She smiled, chuckling at her partner's wild guesses. "Still no."

"Then where are they?"

"Here at this time of year..." Alisaie mused. She took his hand in hers and moved it up and to the right. "The Spear." She moved their hands over to a moderately-bright star. "See, this is the spearhead." She traced a line to a slightly dimmer star a little up and to the right. "Part of Halone's helmet." She proceeded further right to a very bright star. "The Fury." She moved diagonal left and down. "This is Her arm holding the spear up." She went back to the star she called The Fury. "And this is her hand holding it." She moved diagonal right and down to another very bright star. "And this is The Lover."

"Who's partnered with Halone, being in the Heaven of Ice while the other's in the Hell." U'reksh finished as they dropped their hands.

"Mhm hm."

He looked over at her. "Urianger teach you all this? Or your grandfather?"

"Yeah, when I was younger and would sneak out to find them reading. I have all their star maps memorized now." She said, not even trying to hide her smugness as she looked over at him.

"Then, can you show me another one?"

"Gladly!"

Now, if you were to tell Y'dehlya beforehand that the icicle was full of unblemished spring water, she would be compelled to try it, but not without as much precaution as she can in that moment. She's not about to get caught with her tongue stuck. It's about the novelty and experience of the matter.

....Please excuse U'reksh. Cold places and their features fascinate him so, despite initially having an aversion that he's since gotten over (grew up in Thanalan), and later on exploring places with colder climates. He's gonna lick that icicle. No, he hasn't learned his lesson from the time he got tricked into licking metal in Ishgard.

Kouh'to is a most curious individual, but he also has an image to keep up. And with how shiny and glistening the icicle would be, he is absolutely gonna go for it when he thinks no one's looking. And then try to get off it as inconspicuously as he can when he does get stuck.

For Reksh: What's the most trouble you've ever landed in? What were the consequences of it?

U'reksh rubs the back of his head. "Eh...With the law? Most that's ever happened was the Bloody Banquet, and then getting caught sneaking around Labyrinthos by the Forum. I was a wanted man for being accused of murdering the Sultana after the Banquet, and then the Scions were almost deported from Sharlayan after the Forum caught us."

"Personal trouble...Either nearly getting turned into a Lightwarden (and I don't need to explain that one), or...uh..." He winces. "Coming back barely alive after fighting Zenos to the death. After I woke up, everyone was really mad out of worry at me for that stunt. Not as much as they were with Dehlya, gods, but I just couldn't let her try to take him by herself!"

noisome (adj.): having an extremely offensive smell; highly obnoxious or objectionable.

"Gods, I can smell it through the bag!" U'reksh groaned, muffled by his hand over his mouth and nose. He glared at the bag of goblin cheese Y'dehlya was holding. "And Wheiskaet wanted to bring this to their party? What's so special about it, anyway? Sandworm dung smells better than this!"

Y'dehlya sighed through the cloth she had tied around her mouth and nose. "There are many ways to make cheese, and each method produces a different kind with their own unique flavors--"

"But does it have to smell so fucking bad? C'mon, you're a miqo'te, too! Doesn't it bother you?" U'reksh interrupted.

She rolled her eyes. "Why do you think I tied this around my nose?" U'reksh stopped walking and faced her, wide-eyed. It took him a second to notice the woman's face was covered.

"Oh! Uh, can we stop for a second, then?"

Y'dehlya turned around and watched the boy dig through his bag for something to cover his nose with. "Anyway, each method produces a different kind of cheese with their own unique flavors. In some cases, the better quality the cheese, the worse it'll smell. But, that also means the more flavorful." U'reksh triumphantly produced a bandana from his bag and quickly tied it on. They continued walking towards the dock.

"Wait, you've had this before?"

"No, but I know why it'd be highly sought after."

"So, how's this shit made, then?"

Y'dehlya's ears shot up and her eyes widened. "Uh...A-Ask Wheiskaet. He probably knows." She averted her eyes. "Yeah..."

Summary:

Summary:

The younger Warrior of Light, a brash, excitable, and competitive showboat of an adventurer. But fate had tempered him soundly, having him wrestle with his own inner demons to define what his true nature as a warrior and as a man would be. Summary:

Y'dehlya's brother who possesses the Echo. He is a researcher employed by the Sons of Saint Coinach tasked with investigating ancient Allagan Summoning magic. Her opposite in sociability, the sharp-tongued Kouh'to maintains a more melancholy disposition that is difficult to read. He is insatiably curious; known to wander and do as he pleases, finding trouble as much as it finds him, and enjoys getting rises out of others, yet flusters easily and is uncomfortable being surrounded. Yet his acerbic mannerisms conceal a soul both gentler and more protective, especially towards the sister who often took care of him, and a temper that when lit with the right spark, erupts like a volcano. Against his older siblings, it is he who excels the most in the arcane arts, a fact he is quite proud of. But, he, too, was subjected to the same training they have at the same age they started. Has a hidden talent for acting.

"Truthfully," Y'dehlya begins, "I was afraid of the Endsinger, and what her song was capable of. But, I couldn't allow that fear to hold me for very long. I had to keep hope up that we could overcome her. So yes, I am capable of being afraid."

She puts a hand to her chin. "As for that first part, my father's parents always used to tell me stories about the adventures they had when they were younger. It's why I wanted to become an adventurer myself." She gives a sad smile. "They died right before I struck out on my own as one. I miss them dearly; there's so much I would've loved to tell them."

U'reksh crosses his arms and frowns. "I thought Hamon was pretty cool as the Guildmaster of the Pugilists...And then he asked me to take him to my village. Thought it was gonna be for some more training and recruiting, but no! Bastard started ogling a bunch of my friends from back home! What the hells, man?"

His frown deepens and his hands clench into fists as he grits his teeth. "Fuck that Eric guy in the Goldsmith Guild! I'm not stupid, I grew up in a small village the middle of the godsdamned desert with little technology! I didn't know shit about ambient aetheric measurements, what the fuck did you want from me?"

Kouh'to looked concernedly between a smug Alisaie barely able to contain snickers and an U'reksh coughing and wheezing from laughing too hard, forehead resting down on one arm and the fist of the other pounding the table they were sitting at. He turned to Alisaie. "Oh my gods, what the hells did you say to him?"

U'reksh's ears shot up and he lifted his head. Both he and his partner looked at their friend, then at each other. Not a moment passed before they erupted into peals of laughter.

(Answer: She strung together a bunch of puns, and it also doesn't take much to make Reksh start laughing)

Hi there! Thanks for the ask!

Y'dehlya is a very useful resource in matters of love and romance, from classy pick-up lines to date spot recommendations to just straight up wingwomaning. She'd be more than happy to help a friend get a date/help a friend out with one!

Kouh'to is surprisingly(?) helpful in matters of romance by virtue of having romantics for older siblings, so he's picked up on a thing or several via osmosis. You are going to have to persuade him past his own dismissiveness masking insecurity to get him to talk, though. Would that he could take his own advice....

U'reksh...He's...not really someone you'd go to ask on love advice. Lack of experience and all. If anything, he's the one that'd be doing all the asking!

Y'dehlya Rhikta

dusty rose My friend, you are hella aesthetic. Everything about you is thoughtful and intentional, from the way you present yourself to the way you've constructed your space. You'd probably make the most impressive cakes. You have a few close relationships that you've poured yourself into, and you both value the little every-day moments you have together. That said, sometimes you get a bit lost in the details and forget to take a holistic look at your life. Who have you left behind? Are you happy, or do you just look it? Remember to have an honest check-in with yourself sometimes.

Well, I suppose this does fit her, but not all the way, I don't think. Y'dehlya doesn't go out of her way to craft her image at a certain angle, she just is a certain way. Her aesthetics are for her; a luxury few can afford. She doesn't truly let many people in, for all that she's cordial and charismatic on the outside. And while she's trying to be better about herself post-EW, trying to carry so many burdens throughout the MSQ tends to have the effect of details falling through the cracks.

She has left a couple people behind, but that was because of the Carteneau memory spell making her forget them

cobalt blue Nothing feels better to you than making something new from nothing. It would take rope, some tape, and quite possibly a triple-locked door to keep you from your creative pursuits. You are expressive and unique, and refuse to be boxed in. Some are put off or left behind by your passion for the things that matter to you. Occasionally, you would do well to slow down and ground yourself in the present. Check in with others, take a break, and let yourself worry less about that lofty goal of yours.

Well, I do say that he gets into tinkering and machinery after Cid, Stephanivien, and Nero all take him in at different points throughout the MSQ. The color really isn't the first think that comes to mind for Reksh, but the description fits. It also rings more of Ares, though again, not really an Ares color.

Kouh'to Rhikta

charcoal You're smart, analytical, and appear balanced to the people around you. You work hard not to judge others, and to listen carefully before giving advice. For that reason,the people in your life trust you deeply, and listen well when you express an opinion because frankly, you're usually right. This need to appear calm and well-informed can be a little crushing, though-- you don't need to hide your uncertainty quite so often. It's human to need help sometimes, and with all you've done for your loved ones, they would be more than happy to provide it.

Black is a very Kouh'to color. That being said, this description mostly reflects his Endwalker attitude. Less judgemental, more trusting, has found his place among his peers. But he does still go to lengths to hide where he is uncertain or insecure; doesn't open up much about those.
