Picking my phone up when I'm bored, phone in one hand cooking w/the other, scrolling when waiting in line, insert your own not so good for you social media habit etc etc These questions are wonderful and answering them has given me a new direction for how I aspire to use my socials. Also, it may be time for another detox. The first step if you've never done an online detox is to download an app that tracks how much time you're actually spending on your phone and which apps are taking up most of your time. That alone is usually eye opening enough to get most people to put the phone down. But if you're like me aka hella stubborn then placing hard limits or going cold turkey may be the better option. Whatever we do, and however we manage it, all I know is that being online can help us to feel better, stronger, more inspired, and motivated to live out our dreams in the real world. But I also know that the best connections happen when we're unplugged. Balance is key, as in all things really.
