PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on promotional images for "Conan Series 2: The Hour of the Dragon" action figures by McFarlane Toys, released in April 2005, and an advertisement for said series from an issue of Image Comics. Figures include:

Conan the Warrior, Man-eating Haunter of the Pits, Pallantides of the Black Dragons, Xaltotun the Undead, Zenobia, and King Conan of Aquilonia (deluxe boxed set).

SERIES OVERVIEW: "Inspired by the Hyborian legends as originally created by Conan's creator, Robert E. Howard, this second line of Conan action figures from McFarlane Toys represents several characters from the popular "Hour of the Dragon" novel. Collect all five plus the deluxe boxed set. THE MOST EVIL SORCERER OF THE HYBORIAN AGE LIVES AGAIN -- XALTOTUN!!!

PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on promo shots of Xaltotun [the Undead] 6" action figure, from "Conan: Hour of the Dragon" Series 2, released by McFarlane Toys in April 2005.

OVERVIEW: "A cabal of royal conspirators hatches a plot to overthrow King Conan. Using arcane arts, they bring back to life a long-dead high priest of Set.

The evil Xaltotun lives once more after laying mummified in his hieroglyph-covered jade sarcophagus for 3,000 years.

Too late, the conspirators realize they have opened the gates to the realms of darkness when they bring this tyrant back to life. He quickly overpowers them and hatches his own dark plots. Using sorcery he overpowers Conan and strips him of his throne.

Only Conan lies between Xaltotun and his twisted plot to turn back time three millennia and resurrect the most evil empire ever known, Acheron."
