Spoilers for the finale mission of season 10

I understand from a story telling perspective it wouldn’t work to have 5 and Sam get married. To many interpretations of 5 where they aren’t together. To weird to have no dialogue from 5s who aren’t mute in their own stories

But the excitement when I saw it was a wedding episode and then the follow up email with a subject of “your turn 5” 🙃 I’ll take the 5am crumbs I can get

I’be caught up in Zombies, Run! (after lo these many years) and I just have to say—

I was half-expecting to come into Season 10 and find out that Five has been turned into some sort of sad agonized cyborg by Valmont, but now it seems like Five is some sort of missing, lost hero. 

Either way. With the greatest possible admiration for the ZR writing crew—I WOULD LIKE  TO GO BACK TO PLAYING AS FIVE AGAIN, PLEASE. 

XD I get that this is a prequel, but it makes me VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to run in other characters’ skins.

had some time between commission stuff, tried some expressions with my five. they really, really don’t like ian golightly

short ramble/headcanon under the cut 

five’s nature as an experiment from mullins base + the unknown drugs from van ark mix in a weird way. they have a more ‘feral’ form that comes out under strong emotions/duress, and hoo boy the events of this season have them under duress. they’ve tried to hold it together and stay strong for the rebels (it took EVERYTHING for them to not flip out in episode 18) but hearing sam held hostage and hurt is the last straw. 

i know there’s probably not a good scientific reason for werewolf creatures to exist in the story but we have brain-ghost moonchild, also i have a fast and loose approach to canon here. 

there’s like a hundred more moments/quotes from ZR that i really wanna draw but don’t have time at the moment ;-;

I keep thinking about at the end of TMA they seemingly send the Fears into different universes and Ceaseless Watcher gets Sam Yao, with all his cameras, constantly watching horrible things happening.

The ZR universe already has elements of almost all the Fears as a whole, but there are so many candidates for avatars.

The Hunt gets Tom DeLuca (terrifying).

The Spider gets Amelia.

The End gets Van Ark and/or Sigrid.

The Stranger gets Runner Five.

The Lonely gets Simon.

Zombies are The Extinction?

Who gets the Darkness, the Buried, the Vast, the Slaughter?
