Ohhh that carbonated drink anon was onto something! To add onto this interesting subject, Fowler would probably be ‘meh’ in terms of shock value, but I think Sword Father would really like the texture. Not just because he relies on his other senses to navigate the world, but he’s very much open to almost anything.

Also, I like to think that Taigen would maybe only be able to keep all the sprite down after three or four tries, but Akemi would handle it like a champ. She’d either make a polite little burp and then be all “excuse me🤭” or nearly break Taigen’s record and *then* have that same ‘tee hee’ response, no in between

Fowler is a simple guy. man's imported cows just to make sour cream!? he'd be indifferent to fizzy drinks. he'd shake them up then shoot them for fun after all that painstaking work of getting it smuggled into Japan lmfao.

Heiji Shindo would absolutely hate it LOL. he'd call Fowler a dumbass for importing spicy water for what ???? i think he'd enjoy it better mixed with sake. he seems like the type to enjoy mimosas tbh.

I absolutely agree that Swordfather would love fizzy drinks! I'd like to imagine after years of forging he'd have impulsive thoughts on just... chomping on hot coal... wondering what it would feel like.... fizzy drinks would be the closest he'd get to eating hot coals. additionally, he would Love pop rocks. 100% Swordfather would be open to trying any food cuz I can imagine a young Mizu having to cook for the both of them when he's busy. and we all know what Mizu's cooking skills are like lmao.

AND YES! Taigen would need to try at leasttt 4 times to successfully complete the challenge. Akemi definitely could handle it. she's the most adventurous when it comes to food and is a badass lady so you know dang well she'd handle it like a champ! her face unwavering after taking the last sip. the burp she let's out after is so astronomical, she doesn't even bat an eye and just politely says "excuse me" (⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠) Taigen's jaw on the floor after seeing Akemi almost beat his burp record could send him to a chiropractor.
