With Michael could go two ways

I mean he has been chasing Laurie and both seemed to do their best in making everything harder than it should be

It's funny cause he's pretty sneaky too even if he can't really stop time or anything

I think eventually he would lose interest or in alternative would keep trying and would get obsessed with the thought of killing you

If he loses interest and you keep annoying him he would eventually have to get used to you

He was expecting some dumb victim that gets killed almost instantly but when he sees you're taking all the right choices to survive he gets intrigued

You even manage to dodge him without having to hide

The line is drawn when you make him fall on his ass while he tries to stab you.

One second you're in front of him the next you're behind and he's falling forwards face first

He can't decide between being all horny because of how hard you're to get and from the anticipation of what he will do to or to get just downright angry and become a menace to society by killing every single person on sight

He obviously picks the first one cause the first he finally gets his hands on you he's practically vibrating

But then he stops cause all the fun is gone and now he has to actually kill you

What a bummer when a victim that you want to fuckin slaughter is having a silly goofy time running away from you and you end up actually catching them so now you have to kill them

he looks at you and then starts to walk away like nothing happened

Obviously you were having none of it so like the rational person you are you decide to chase down the person that wanted to kill you

Anon-Nemesis - I am loving Stingray in this chapter. The cheeky bastard is having the time of his life taring shit up and knocking shit down. There's this childish innocence to his personality that plucks a really disturbing cord, because there is actually a dark side to childish innocence, like how kids can pull the wings off of butterflies and giggle. Stingray is like a kid who never grew up and never learned not to pull the wings off of butterflies and holds childish grudges.

I've actually gotten to write more Stingray in later chapters of Gladiator than I ever anticipated I would xD spoiler-ish as it may be, I ended up writing him briefly in a certain chapter of Part 3 and he is just... weirdly fun to write xD Even more fun to thwart, no denying that, but it's really interesting to work with a character who's all instinct, all impulse, and all that translates into his relationship with his element as well. Waterbenders in general can be preeeeetty terrifying, and I think I've never written, nor will I likely write, any waterbenders more OP than him.

But yep, that's a very good way to look at him. Instead of learning to not pull the wings off the butterflies, he decided he would pull wings off even more things and cackle about it endlessly. It's very deliberate that he's the one who's actively and carefully stabbing through people's vital organs with ice spikes, I mean, getting pierced by earth isn't going to be fun either xD but the way this guy is doing it... he's genuinely calculating his attacks to make it likelier for each of his opponents to die. He's just that wild xD

#Anon-Nemesis #it's really funny how he's actually done more than Rhone so far #admittedly tho #he probably would've wound up like Lord Farquaad if he'd tried to fight Xin Long #not sure Xin would have swallowed him tho #probably some charring and chewing and then spitting him out again #but you get my meaning (?)#Rhone did go for the worse enemies #and all things considered if Azula and Xin had just stayed safely in the palace or a bunker #the bay would have been a full-on massacre #nobody would have survived this guy and his spear #but it's still pretty funny that the Stingray's been more successful than his boss...
