#i think it's that while both have tragic finales i'm fascinated by the *badness* of 15x20 #no i haven't watched the finale for hate crimes md but i know what's coming #watching house's head/wilson's heart live was already devastating enough. i've been avoiding s8 for a decade :') #also spn is a bit more uneven in whether it's plot driven or character driven in any given episode so that kinda takes you out a bit #vs hate crimes md which is almost entirely character driven and more evenly written #which i think is down to *how* their respective writers rooms functioned (spn gave writers more independence) #hate crimes md
