something something the maki and noritoshi team up against naoya makes me realize these are literally TEENAGERS.  they’re like what, 16, 17?  and they’ve both lost everything that’s ever held meaning to either of them - for maki, it’s her sister and her goal to lead the zen’in clan and prove everyone wrong, and for noritoshi, it’s his place as the head of his clan.  and it sucks because even when stripped away of all of that, they’re both still trying to stop the culling game and save people and do good???  and like noritoshi is so ready to die so that maki can go on???  anD THEY’RE KIDS???  something something i’m unwell
