At @casademexicoenespana you can visit the Altar de Muertos, a beautiful Mexican tradition. In it, you will find: - the Tapete de Huamantla, a traditional carpet made out of coloured sawdust that welcomed the Dead and brings them over to the main part of the altar (done by Angélica Vértiz y Rubén Pérez) - 5 flower arcs made out of 35 thousand flowers that represent the door between the world of the living and the land of the dead. - Tzompantli, which means “a line of skulls” in náhuatl, it was built by the mexicas to honour Huitzilopochtli, God of the sun and war.
