You stared out at the greenery in front of you, the morning light trickling in like golden beams as you sipped on your coffee. the green and gold silk robe draped over you in a way that had Damon wrapping his arms around you, his face buried in your neck.

You looked over at him, smiling as you turned in his hold, leaning in and placing a gentle kiss to his lips, a faint flush on his cheeks as he held you closer.

You were attractive- he would be stupid to not to notice that about you. He knew as soon as June brought you in- but now? You were glowing, the morning light making you look almost heaven-sent. Like you were a byproduct of the sweetest of dreams, and he wanted to never wake up.

“Good morning- I wasnt too hard on you, was I?” His tone was playful, pulling out the laugh he loved, a tint on your cheek as you playfully swatted his chest.

“No, baby..it was the best night of my life.”

His blue eyes ran over your face, a lopsided grin on his face when he placed his forehead on yours. The scene was domestic, the tight feeling in his heart, the adoration he felt for you was thick in his soft voice, spoken gently.

“It was the same for me, too.”

If this was how mornings would be like with you, he could get used to it.
