Somewhat angsty of a ask, and it’s your choice if you want to write it, but the subway bosses with a s/o who has a Mimikyu that’s the ghost of their little sibling.
i did HCs, resend your ask if that wasn’t what you wanted /gen! I'm always down for a little angst (makes the fluff all the more sweeter)

● His immediate response is to apologize for your loss. It was near unimaginable and not something he would wish upon anyone. He's an older sibling, too, so your plight hits him in all the worst places. A freezing, numb sense spreads in his extremities at the thought of Emmet dying. It's something he quickly forces from his mind. (Later on, he calls the younger twin and does a general check up on him. Emmet laughs at his mothering but wonders what has him riled up. A dark thought plagues him of a Litwick with a familiar smile on its face.)
● He asks about how it was discovered the Mimikyu was actually the ghost of your younger sibling. Did you… Did you look under the cloth? They aren't native to his region, but even he knows you aren't supposed to do that. Whatever the answer is, his heart aches at the grief (and relief) it must have caused you.
● Ingo is very kind to Mimikyu; he talks to them and genuinely attempts to understand their responses. The older twin is never cruel to pokemon, but knowing just what they are, he feels an urge to treat them more like a person than a pet.
● If they are a bit mischievous and set out to prank him, it will not work. His (and Emmet's) Chandelure has already tried every ghost pokemon trick in the book when it was younger. Sometimes, he'll play along. Ingo's big brother nature comes out, and he would hate to make them feel inadequate.
● When you're away, and you've left him with babysitting, he takes it very seriously. This is an important job you have entrusted him with. That's why they are sitting in a shopping cart while he gages what snacks they want. People are passing him by, mildly distressed by the state of the local celebrity. (You come home and find him asleep on the couch with Mimikyu curled up on his chest.)

○ His smile and optimism: gone. The younger twin might not be an older sibling, but he still understands. Assures you that if you need any comfort and/or assistance, he is there for you. It's strange seeing the normally peppy Subway Boss so somber. A morbid thought laps at the back of his neck, leaving goosebumps in its wake. Ingo was fine; he reassured himself. (He calls his older brother and makes plans for dinner. Emmet needed to physically see his twin was alright. A frowning Litwick haunts his dreams that night.)
○ There is a curiosity about how you came to the realization that Mimikyu was the ghost of your younger sibling. Did they tell you somehow? Did you just know on instinct? Did you look under the sheet? He scolds you lightly about how unsafe that would be. However you did, he is apologetic for the pain you must have had to go through.
○ Emmet plays with Mimikyu often. He'll attempt to keep them entertained and give them praise he knows younger siblings crave. He might accidentally treat them like a pokemon more than a human, but it's not on purpose and would stop if you mentioned it.
○ If they try to prank him, he will always play along. He did that for his Chandelure when it was a Litwick and is content to do it with Mimikyu. Gives them advice for better pranks and invites them to use it on Ingo. He snickers at his brother's confused blabbering. Lets them high-five him with their weird appendage.
○ He'll take Mimikyu to work with him if you let him. Emmet wants to keep them entertained, and what's more entertaining the high-skill pokemon battles? They stand on the seats of the subway while watching Emmet absolutely demolish a poor trainer because he wishes to impress them. Mimikyu is brought home that day, ecstatic from the day's adventure. (Emmet let them into the driver's compartment and wear his hat around.)
