#anyone else know any absurdist and or morbid children picture books I’d love recommendations

My friend and I were in a bookstore yesterday and she calls me over and she’s like I found a self help book for you, look it’s you.

And I go over and the book is this:

#apparently this is a self help book written by ‘me from the future’ #and my current self needs the advice #lol 😂 wut #I love it idk why I didn’t actually pick up the book and look through it #probably because I was on a one track mind trying to find ‘I want my hat back’ #to show her the popular kids book with a murder in it #I love that book #just straight up murder #and it’s not even old so I doesn’t have the excuse of times we’re different lol #it’s from like 2018 😂🤣😆 #one of my favorite kids books because of that #also ‘she’s dead of course’ at the end of the old lady who swallowed a fly #or the book called Home that goes through all these totally normal houses talking about their culture #and then like 85% through the book they throw in #’this is a moon house. a moonian lives here’ #and then they just move on to Norway or whatever like that didn’t even happen #anyone else know any absurdist and or morbid children picture books I’d love recommendations
