seeing people enjoy my shane stardew stuff makes so happy for real thank you :’’’)

i feel like i can really draw the things i want here without worrying whether or not it’s what people in the fandom “want.” i think it’s because my vibes of cheesy sappy cute stuff and general artstyle matches more for stardew than it does for other fandoms i’m in. that probably plays a part in why i’ve been so burned out about hlvrai. drawing stuff for it has been feeling more forced because i’m not doing the things i really want to do. when i do draw what i want and put a ton of thought and work into it, it usually doesn’t do well compared to shitposts that i do with less time and consideration. which is dumb because i know i shouldn’t let notes n likes n stuff determine the worth of what i produce and put out there. but i think it’s just worn me down over the past couple years. it was a gradual disillusionment. honestly i think it comes down to my insecurity about not being able to fit in anywhere.

anyway enough self-psychoanalyzing im going to go draw more shane stardew now because his face makes me happy 🐓
