okay so i'm rewatching my policeman again and i need answers. i hoped for book to clear things for me but i'm sick and my brain don't want to cooperate with understanding engilsh, do here we go.

The most heartbrekaing thing:

Why Tom never got back for Patrick?

Why not after he got back from the prison after two years? They sill had all life to live then.

Why there was so many bitterness and anger from Tom after they took Patrick under their roof after all this years.

Patrick never did single wrong thing in his life. And Tom what? Just left him alone after all this and all they had?

Because he was afraid? That he may end in prison too? Only because of that? And he never ever try to reconnect with Patrick? And when they did he was only distant and angry? Why?

I'm dissapointed and unsatisfacted because there could be so much more depth, do much more things said or showed and so much less questions left.
