Leaning back on the checkout counter, eyes closed, Steve was lost in his own train of thought, trying to work out the events of the night before. 

“We were all there, you were there! You had to have seen!:”

The night before they were all out getting pizza. Nancy, Jonathan, the kids, Argyle, Robin, him and Eddie. They were all there and he could have sworn, no he knew that Eddie had leaned against him intentionally when they sat next to each other in the booth. He even leaned his head on his shoulder! 

“Robin! guys just dont do that for fun. What do you think it means?”

For one thing, she was a Lady, not a High Lady like Elain's sister was but still a High Lord's wife, and for another she was her mate's mother.

🐝  *  ―  let’s bring some more positivity to the rpc by brightening someone’s day ! anonymously or not, send 💕 or ( ‘HEART’ ) for me to randomly pick one of my mutuals and write at least two things about why i love seeing them on my dash, writing with them, talking to them, etc.

@exkingbabysitter gives me such feels!! We just started interacting recently but they are feeding into my love and need for dark Eddie themes and I really enjoy their portrayal of Steve a lot. I'm excited to see what else happened between these two, but they have Steve down so well. Whether it's in a serious way or showing his goofiness, it's a lot of fun to see them on the dash. <3

@burnedchaos is another heckin' awesome multimuse blog that I really enjoy interacting with. Just recently, they fed me my need of interacting with the younger teen characters and it makes me so happy to be able to do that. Plus their OC characters are really well developed and I'm having a lot of fun interacting with them too.

@scarredfeathers is a sweet lil bean too; we haven't done a ton just yet but they were one of the first OC blogs to interact with my Eddie. I love their slow burn of a development and am looking forward to seeing it continue to grow and evolve. Thanks for making the dash a better place!

Wayne had been grateful for the invitation Joyce had extended over Christmas decorating. It was the first Christmas season since Eddie had died and he hadn’t thought he could stomach it. Seeing the Byers family though all happy and smiling. Joyce’s boys reminded her so much of Eddie at different parts of his life it’s good to see he missed hearing that laughter seeing those smiles. They’re picking a tree when Joyce makes the comment. 

He looks over to the woman and smiles taking off his coat and putting it around her shoulders. “Spent so long lecturing those boys about wearing their coats you forgot yours? I’ve been there you can just borrow mine until we get back to the house.”

Sitting outside with her, he let her talk without interrupting before giving a small nod. “It’s understandable. I mean, most kids don’t go through half of what you’ve been through Max. But you know that I’m always here if you wanna talk right? Can be about anything, I’ll sit and listen and try to help where I can.”

It’s been too long, he knew that as he drove over the Hawkins town line.

He had finished his senior year in California, for his mom, and now returning, he almost felt like a stranger. People he talked to daily didn’t seem to remember him…

This was his first night back with everyone, Will practically begging him to come over Robins house to see everyone. He was anxious and slightly sick to be honest. He hadn’t been a great friend, or even a good one while he was gone, he hadn’t reached out to anyone…

Fuck, everything hurt.

His vision was getting hazy, his heart racing as his body shivered. He could taste metal in his mouth. Was this what dying felt like? It's nothing like what the greats sang about.

Dustin Henderson was clinging to his body, tears in his tiny little eyes. Christ, he looked so stupid, geared up like they were in one of Eddie's campaigns. It made Eddie smile.

This little shit followed him around at school like a puppy alongside Wheeler. Sinclair was breaking away from their little trio, but seeing them all together gave Eddie a pang of jealousy. Especially when they'd talk about Harrington. But right now? The way the kid was looking at him, he wondered if this was what Steve felt.

"I didn't run this time," he sputtered out, proud of himself for that fact. "Tell them...that Eddie the banished vanquished--" he coughed midway through his words. "--the mass of beasts with...the power of his music, like a legend."

One of his hands reached for Dustin, blood smearing his clothes as he tried to grip.

Dying really fucking sucks.

"Do that, and I won't die," he added, feeling himself get cold. "Someone's...gotta keep Hellfire going, Squirt..."

The plan had been a room with two beds. Nancy was helping Robin tour some colleges in Northern Indiana. Steve would’ve done it but he’d been held up with family drama. They were thrown off by being told there were no two bed rooms just the one bed. They go upstairs and Robin apologizes as if it were her fault the hotel was oversold. “I mean- are you sure? I could sleep in the reading chair it’s really not that big of a deal. I just- you did so much all the driving me around and stuff I’d feel bad.”
