ok currently inspecting July Events to figure out wtf happened to Vash's coat

so we see him at the start of July in this:

which upon inspection IS different from his coat at the start of the series:

which makes this shot immediately post-july make some sense:

he's got the same belts pants, so clearly not ALL of his outfit got blown off, but it seems like his prior coat didn't survive the explosion. so at some point, he'd have to contact the floating ship again to get another coat made (these ppl really are working overtime keeping up with his coat and prosthetic demolishing lmaooo) WHICH on the topic of his prosthetic, it seems like it DID survive the July explosion, which is interesting!

smth im wondering about. In dialog, we hear from Brad that he met Vash when he was 4 years old, but hasn't seen him in the 13 years since (this being after the 2 years post-jeneora). at that time, it's 8 years post-july (since july happens 6 years before the start of the series, and then add the 2 years time skip post-jeneora), which sets the events of July THEORETICALLY to happen 5 years after his last visit to the flying ship.

so, how did he get his new coat if he hasn't been back to the flying ship in 13 years? Well, i assume he has some way to contact them from afar, considering he manages to get Sensei to bring him a new coat post-jeneora in some random town (& Sensei now brings Brad, who is 17, but would've only been 9 the last time).

this brings the question: how does he contact them? some kind of communication device? i remember his earring's a radio, but i dont remember him having any specific way to contact them directly. so maybe it's just not shown? i cant imagine he'd be able to send letters, all things considered, so it's probably some kind of radio transmission. the technology Does exist, & they almost definitely would pin a special radio on this disaster-prone asshole so he could still keep contact during the long years he's away from home.

for me, it was Dr. Seuss’s ABCs. i want to see if that resonates with anybody or if im truly alone on this awakening. im okay being a woman that had a VERY unique experience (lmaooo), but it gives me comfort knowing i might not be alone.

anyway, i was about four years old and was starting to learn the alphabet (who knew years later i’d be an English major!) and i remember paging through the book and becoming absolutely infatuated with the letter S. i bet you might be able to guess why, and i can recite the poem verbatim:

the pages featured a huge round table and six empty root beer mugs. at the center of it all was Sammy, my first boyfriend, a boy in a pink and purple striped sweater with a gooseberry-green face, looking queasy. i used to stare at the pages for minutes at a time and hid the book privately, even as a little girl innocently excited by the idea that boys could get sick (and from overconsumption to boot).

as i got a little older, i started playing computer games (this was around 2006-2007), and i was given a CD-ROM edition of Dr. Seuss’s ABCs. the letter S never left my mind, and for the first time i got to hear my first crush SPEAK to me, and things only got more intense from there. to hear a boy audibly groan about his stomachache and get shamed by other characters for drinking too much soda, it just absolutely drove me crazy, and it stuck with me for the rest of my life.

I'm split about it actually ! there are definitely some similarities that others have pointed out that make me lean towards that theory, however there are also some smol things that make me inclined to think it isn't Tech, mostly by the way CX-2 speaks.

I personally saw more similarities between CX-2 and Crosshair, disregarding the fact that they are both snipers since every clone assassin was made a sniper, the one that stuck out to me the most was CX-2's theme song that I found vERY similar to Crosshair's imperial theme?? and the little ways his body moves also reminds me of Cross like here for example

Tech's movements are more "jerky", it's more like someone who has drank 5 cups of coffee in 1 hour kind of, which I don't see in CX-2. His movements are more "smooth" and subtle, similar to Crosshair moving. Now can it just be that it's just bc all his previous traits were removed? absolutely 😭 so I don't!.. really have a lot to work with tbf

well, I guess the ending would keep it open for a potential S2, if that were to ever happen. good episode with excellent animation, even though it didn't quite fulfill all of my desires for this show. would've liked mahoro to have a more active role in all this. this show also felt a bit limited by runtime and writing at times, but overall it was a pretty enjoyable experience with charming characters (who I would've liked to learn more about, tbh). matakara and ara's fight was amazing. I wanted more ichiya and senya than we got but I'm glad they resolved their issues too. I'm kinda curious as to what happened with ichiya after the fight. is he also in the bullet with senya, did he pass on, or is he in his own bullet? if it's the first option, I need a spinoff of their stupid domestic lives inside their separate spirit world

They were never given once in a lifetime chance. They're also kinda shy which makes sense for someone that's not used to be in the light or the centre of attention. Honestly this makes me so sad bc none of this was ever their fault, they were a victim of circumstance.

NO CAUSE I GET IT Lucie's death is basically the catalyst for the most dramatic character development for Benito cause like on the first u can only see bits of his development the more he interacts with everyone like on the part where jeffrey nearly dies. LIKE IT IS SO INTEGRAL!! Seeing lucie sacrifice herself for emi as an ultimate act of selflesness and care and dying in such a brutal tragic way made him fucking BREAKDOWN LIKE HE'S ACTUALLT GOING TO STUDY MEDICINE NOW BECAUSE OF THEM HE'S ACTUALLY GOING TO TRY HE'S ACTUALLY GOING TO TAKE CARE OF EMI. Without that influence, without that catalyst its really hard to see him be as selfless as he was at the end.

the chokehold this novel has on me is not to be understated, like, this usually doesn't happen often because I'm so picky with what media i consume but...ORV.

Idk what happened to me but i felt like i was possessed while reading orv, like, i would be staying up all night and forgetting to eat or drink. It'd be the only thing I'd do everyday, i didn't open any other app unless I needed to.

I literally even read it at school every time a lesson requires me to bring an electronic device (LIKE KDJ SNEAKING OFF TO THE JANITOR'S CLOSET AND SECRETLY USING HIS COUSIN'S LAPTOP TO READ TWSA OMG)

NOW I CAN'T ESCAPE FROM ORV. ITS STUCK IN MY HEAD SAVE ME!!!!

After neglecting art for almost 2 years, i picked it up again just so i could draw orv. It was also the first time i was confident about sharing my art

All my socmed platforms are used solely to share my love for orv, it was the first time i was ever so open. I write about my thoughts on orv everywhere I go, I listen to music and subconsciously try to figure out if the lyrics remind me of orv, i keep comparing every other piece of fiction to orv (im always convinced orv did it better, orv out here setting the standard)

Okay okay so a few headcannons I have for TTN

Reader totally has a step by step plan for getting hobie to ask her out (listen she'd ask but like it's Hobie we need him to break the ice or we could be reading this all wrong)

She's definitely at every show if she can be but leaves before the "after party". Not her scene she just came to support her boys (hobie and Ned)

She has a hard time making female friends, which is why the sudden bind with Yuri was so nice!

If Yuri stuck around instead of leaving here soon she'd totally start flirting with reader to mess with hobie all the time now that they're best mates now. She'd flirt and Reader would get flustered as fuck but try to laugh it off and play along and Yuri would be like "see hobie that's how it's done. You better be careful looks like I might be cherry's new favorite~"all playfully smug and hobie isn't bothered knows she joking so it just really messing with reader 🤣

Readers taken hobie on like 1500 dates and he still doesn't get that she wants him. I mean come in we dragged him to a runway show! I'm sure we've done similar else where. Having to "convince" him to come when he'd do anything for her.

Obviously it's the same from hobie's side from above I mean he took us to a fabric shop and got all sweet about it. I know there's been more

Hobie complains to Ned about reader and he's told him Tim and time again just go for it at this point he'll just look at him and raise a brow and hobies like yeah yeah I know I should tell her yada yada. Yuri just figured it out and teases while James is a lil special.

there is a theory from id's fantasy (i believe) that since jeremy was one of glitchtrap's victims, he TOO had the vanny mask. somehow the vanny mask got stuck to his face (like how it gets stuck on you in ruin) and the scene that tape girl describes was jeremy cutting the VANNY MASK off. tape girl describes it as a halloween mask, and since we find the vanny mask in the dreadbear dlc, she isn't too far off

but like you said, idk how jeremy would just get off scot free and get re-hired by the pizzaplex??? fazbear was just about to fire him anyway soooo... did they end up doing that??? did he go into hiding??

And when regarding the lawsuit/what happened, she acts like something tragic happened that she refuses to say outright, so much so that at one point she ends the tape cause she gets so uncomfortable.

Like it's a fine theory, but it doesn't make sense to me with how Tape Girl acts about the incident- cause to an outsider (and to a court) wouldn't it just look like he spilled ink on himself and had a weird mask in the room lmao? There's nothing really "tragic" here that'd make TG act the way she does imo

I'm pretty sure he was working for Silver Parasol Games, not Fazbear Entertainment- Faz Ent just outsourced Help Wanted to SPG and gave them the circuit boards that got scanned into the game and created Glitchtrap. But regardless, he still caused a huge issue for everyone- the game was almost canned according to Tape Girl, with her assuming it was because of the lawsuits. Whether it be him or his family, after whatever happened to Jeremy happened, he sued SPG and possibly Fazbear Entertainment because of their direct involvement in Glitchtraps existence, and for a game meant to cover up the events of the past, he sure made quite the "event" out of whatever happened to him. He's just caused too much trouble for Faz Ent for me to believe they'd hire him- I'd sooner believe they'd hire a hitman on him or send killer animatronics to his house LMAO
