Anthony Bourdain having visited both Nicaragua and Panamá but not Costa Rica is heartbreak and tragedy for me specifically :-(

#whyyyy both our neighboring countries but not us #I kind of get it tho :-/ unlike the rest of LatAm we don't have a culture of street food #and if you were to ask me personally perhaps our culinary identity would have felt lacking or come up short #but still I think he would have loved to eat chifrijo #me lo imagino yendo a una sodita en el puerto 🥺 qué lindo #going to Talamanca or maybe even Tortuguero #definitely Guanacaste even if briefly #there was so much he could have explored! and I'm sure he would have had a ball calling out the corruption that exists in this country #anyways I need to watch those two episodes soon as I can! #txt.me
