Good day in the water yesterday with old friends, some new friends and some awesome fishing!! We caught Yellowtail Snapper for dinner to start with some live Ballyhoo, then went to a wreck and caught a smoker King Mackeral and a big Blackfin Tuna! We also jumped off a Sailfish! The 11:30 half day started out dragging live bait around for Kingfish, Sailfish and Tuna, but with so much seagrass in the area we decided to switch gears and anchor up on the reef. The first spot landed us an undersized Mutton Snapper which we released. The second spot landed us two very nice sized Mutton’s and a pile of super-sized Yellowtail Snapper for dinner. Everyone had a great time and had enough fish to take for dinner. Two people went to Chef Michael’s and one of the others took a Mutton home whole to put in the oven! I love it when customers send me photos of their cooked catches!
